"I was skeptical about this product and how it would work and even if my dogs would be able to use it. I purchased this product a couple of months ago and couldn't be happier. Both my dogs figured out how to use it in less than 5 minutes. Now I no longer have to go outside and fill up their bowl every 5 minutes. Great for summer time."

"This item is a great idea. Especially for the very busy person that is on the run. Great summer idea as well since your family pet will definitelly be drinking more water this item will give them an ongoing supply of fresh water. It attaches to any outside water spout and just leave the faucet on to give your pet an endless supply of water. I highly recommend it since I was having problems with my dogs chewing their water bowls or tipping them over leaving them no water for the day."

"It took our dog 2 months to use this thing. We covered it in peanut butter and just about everything else and nothing worked. We even emptied all the water bowls and she still wouldn't drink out of it. Then one evening we were outside and she just walked up and started licking it and hasn't stopped using it since! She barely will use her water bowls inside now. Great for a dog who is outdoor during warmer weather so you don't have to worry about them dehydrating! Patience is the key though."

"Whoever designed this is a genius!!
My golden retriever puppy loves this thing, and it gives me peace of mind that when he is outside he has water whenever he wants. As for training him to use it. I hooked it up and touched the valve that allows water to flow and he got the idea immediately. A couple of friends have bought this once they saw him using it."

a great alternative to a water dish!, November 24, 2006

"My golden retriever uses one of these nearly year around. We take it off in below freezing temps though. He always has fresh water and doesn't tip the water bowl over anymore!
I was a bit wary of this when my husband brought it home, I thought the valve would wear out quickly and flood our back yard but we've used it successfully for 2 years without any problems."
