well when I got my new budgie not long ago (more like a few days) I picked this up with him I am not putting it in the cage though because it is semi hazardous but it is one of his favorite toys so it hangs outside of the cage so he can play with it supervised.

I bought this toy, if not a very similar one with strings and toys all over the sides.
My lovebird absolutely adored this toy, however, once the majority of the wood pieces were chewed off and the strings were left standing alone on the main part, my bird began to unwind the strings...
I found my bird screaming with the rope wrapped around her neck, i had to cut the string off and unwind the rope from her neck. She was okay, but I just want people to think about safety when it comes to toys with strings, birds are very curious and active and will get into anything...

Pros: birds love it

Cons: strings can strangle bird

Got this toy about a week ago for, Charlie my umbrella cockatoo, and hung it on his playground. He showed great interest in it, but it faded after a few chews and tugs. But Spike, my cockatiel loves this toy. it has quickly become his favorite toy. The toy is pretty sturdy, but Charlie could easliy destroy it in a few hours. So it is probably better that Spike likes it best!
