we bought one of these for our zebra finches, the hood is terrific because we can place it anywhere in the cage and not worry about them pooping into it, it fastens sturdily to the cage bars and easily swivels to take out to clean and refill, it's probally a little too large for our tiny birds because we have to fill it up to the rim so they can reach the water, they do enjoy drinking from it and one of them loves to perch on the edge and sing into it for an echo effect

I have the blue one that i use for food. Its very cute, and keeps the food in. (so far!) My 2 parakeets seem to enjoy it. My only complaint is that is made out of cheap plastic. Other than that, it does its job of keeping the food in, holds a lot of food, and looks very cute. I recommend this to any bird owner. :)

I have the small blue one for my parakeet and use it as a water bowl. It's great because it keeps any droppings out of it and reduces seeds getting into it. My parakeet loves to splash the water around the clear part and then make little noises because i guess it echos in there LOL.
The only downside to this product is that you cannot remove the clear lid from the solid cup which makes it difficult to clean.
Pros: durable, Spillproof

At first I had a bit of a problem getting my canaries, Charlie and Jack, to use them. They would warily inspect them, but said 'uh-uh' for the first couple of days. Then I tried placing their beaks in the one for water and that seemed to do the trick. Since they were accustomed to taking their morning bath in their open water feeders they didn't care much for the style of these new ones. Since the initial beak dipping they're fine with them now.

The food gets pushed down in between the cup and the cover and it is very hard to clean, so I have to use hot water and baking soda and immerse the cup and let it soak for a hour to get all of that trapped junk out.
I wish the manufacturer had made it so the cover came off just to clean the cup....

These cups are made of a good durable, dense plastic. The medium is a good size for a cockatiel. The MEDIUM cup part is 3 inches wide & 2.25 inches deep. Holds 2 coffee scoops of pellets or right about 8oz of water. The clear lids do NOT come off, but the opening is wide so its no trouble to wash.
The holders stay in the cage & the cups twist & lift out very easily. I think they are very nice... and since they don't have to hook over a bar, like the old cups, I can put them in new places. They also stand alone on the counter- which is good because I have 4 of them to wash every day.
They have cut down on the pellet crumb mess too... by more than half. :) Still have to sweep every day.
Both of my girls had no trouble accepting these cups, and they are very different from their other cups. One of my girils didn't even hesitate- she was climbing all over them before I got the nut tightened on the holder.
ONE of the plastic nuts was stripped out when I got it--- but I had other nuts, saved from some old JW toys, it fit perfectly.

very good it took a little for my bird to get used to it and not hit the plastic sides......................... Over all good product keeps seeds in cage

This feeder is great for all my small to medium birds. My canary loves it over the traditional feeders that comes with the cage. Seeds do not fly out of container when he is digging either. Safe, colorful and easy to cleanout.

I bought this dish for my cockatiels because they kept getting their food into their water. So i used this as their water dish since i like keeping the food and water dish beside each other. The amount of food thats gets into their water has decreased a lot. They're still is occasionally a little bit of seed inside, but no where near as much as before. I give this product five stars.

This feeder is amazing, my birds used to make a huge mess because they threw their seeds around, but now, they make almost no mess!
