The only brand of food I will feed my parakeet, Jesu. He has been thriving on it for at least five years. He loves it, is not picky, and it maintains his energy level.
He almost purrs when he gets fed.

I adopted a very old and ill parakeet .I tryed diffrent foods when I first got her but her plumage did not appear to improve nor did she seem to flourish.I tryed the fiesta mix.I slowly weaned her to the new food.Her coloring is great and she is active and very verbal now.She eats everything but the egg and carrot pieces but she eats the rest of her bowl every day.I highly recommend it.Just remember birds can be picky and you may have to wean your bird onto fiesta blend,its worth it.

I recently bought a parakeet and I agree with the other customer, this bird will pick the seeds out and leave the rest, I read the ingredients and it says it's a very well balanced and nutritional food, guess this bird is picky because I bought some calcium and treats but i haven't seen him picking at them.

I tried transition to this bag of food because it seem pretty healthy, but my bird doesn't like it. He picks out all the seeds and eat them. Then he doesn't eat it anymore. What's left is just the rain, with no seeds. This product is a failure for my bird.

Pros: healthier diet

Cons: my bird hates it.

this was the food that i got for my new parakeet, Baby and this will be the only one i will buy him! he loves this food and chirps when he wants more. right when i put the foood cup with fiesta in it, he jumps on the food cup before i clipped it onto my cage. he absolutley loves this food!! glad i bought it

Before this bird food my birds would throw their food around instead of eat it. Now, with Kaytee Fiesta for Parakeets they actually eat their food! buying Kaytee Fiesta for Parakeets saves me money because my birds aren't just putting all of the food on the ground. The birds seem to like the way it tastes too.

My american budgie was fed this at the store I got her from, so I got this kind. This is very nutritional because she had very straight shiny and full feathers. She was also very strong for a budgie the size of a small canary!

My graywinged sky blue parakeet has never had better food in her life! I have tried many other foods including - nutriphase, fortidiet, zupreem friut blend, and pretty bird premium, but this one is the best! Her feathers are smooth, shinney, and straight. I love the Kaytee brand of food. I also love Kaytee Feista for Guinea Pigs - my 2 guinea pigs love just as much as I do!!!
