Okay for guinea pigs

While this is definitely not the best food for guinea pigs, I give it to mine occasionally. Since you are supposed to rotate between different types of guinea pig foods so that they don't get hooked on one type, I rotate between colorful and non colorful. When I choose a colorful mix I always reach for fiesta mix! It has big chunks of food that are GREAT for the guinea pigs to ware down their teeth on. But it is made with alfalfa which isn't healthy for them, the Timothy is much too expensive. But I am always sure to give them a lot of Timothy hay to make up for it. But I will admit even though it is more fattening my guineas love their fiesta mix! They eat it all up! Which isn't suprising because it probably tastes like treats! :)

I got Fiesta Max in my kit for guinea pigs. It seems like a really good product. My guinea pig Pebbles ate it right away!

I have three very picky piggies and they all love this food! Unlike other foods i've tried my piggies eat everything in the food rather than picking out their favorite part! This is something I can give to them that they love that I actully feel good about feeding them because I know it's great for them!

My guinea pig Latte loves Kaytee Fiesta , it is really good for guinea pigs because it is tasty for them and it is packed with vitamin c ( guinea pigs love vitamin c). I really recommend this product.

This is now the only stuff i will feed my guniea pig i almost had to take her to the vet because she would not eat and thats what they do best. This food is also one of the most nutrisous foods on the market. so i will recomend you feed your piggies this.

I bought this food in the hopes she will like it, and she doesn't like it she LOVES it! She would eat all the way to the bottom of the bag if I let her!The seal is good and that helps me a lot!

Loves to "pig"out

Our guinea pig absolutely loves this food! I switched brands because we inherited the class pet and the bag of food that he came with was not for sale at Petsmart. Well, he loves this food so much that I am refilling his bowl more often than I was with the other food. He prefers this one by far. He makes his cute little guinea pig sounds alot more when I fill his bowl(or when he wants me to fill his bowl). I would definitely recommend this food to other guinea pig parents. He did not care for the carrots at first but I left them in and now he eats everything.

Pros: good value

Cons: the seal tore so i put the food in another bag

Not good for your pet

Although this food looks like it would be fun for your cavy,it is not at all healthy for them as it is made with alfalfa meal and as we all know alfalfa is bad for all piggies over 6 months. You need to be feeding your guinea pigs a food made with timothy meal instead. On top of that this food has seeds and little colorful bits which ar enot only incredibly unhealthy your guinea pig can alo very easily choke on the smaller pieces and seeds. Guinea pigs do not need all that artificial coloring or any of those extra bits. Fresh food is much better for them. And some guinea pigs will refuse to eat the pellets if you feed them a mix food which just adds to how unhealthy this is because then they are getting absolutely no nutrients that they need. Please if you care about your pets don't feed them this. Try oxbow's cavy cuisine instead,it's the best food out there!

I think that it was a waist of money, my piggs dump the dish out and just eat the pellitts. It is just a cost ifective to just go and get the pellitts. I have not gotten this product sence it came with the cage that we got to start with.

My baby guinea pig is really picky. He wouldn't eat a lot of veggies and fruits and also wouldn't eat the regular pellets and then i read the reviews on this food and tryed it and he nearly dove into the bowl. He absolutely loves this food and can't stop eating it. The little extra things in the food are his favorite.

I couldn't get my new baby guinea pig, Shadow, to eat all the other things that I feed my other guinea pig. Shadow go sick, so I decided to get her dried food instead of feeding her the veggies. She went for it, and she loves it sooooo much!!!!!! It's a GREAT food!!!!!!!!
