If the Kaytee Company actually cared for a ferret's health, they would have researched more and find out that grains aren't very nutritious to ferrets and that food coloring isn't good for a ferret! SAVE YOUR MONEY DON'T BUY THIS DISGRACEFUL PRODUCT! Instead, buy 8 in 1 Ultimate ferret diet or some other superior brand that's actually healthy!

My little guy was on this food when I bought him. He would dig in his food bowl and pick out the littlest pieces because the rest are too big and hard. This stuff is not healthy for ferrets! I suggest 8 in 1 Ultimate.

WORST

THIS IS A HORRIBLE FOOD FOR FERRETS! Please don't feed your fuzzies this stuff, it can cause horrible health problems if fed over a long period of time, not to mention weight loss. It is hard for them to digest and over time can actually cause serious health problems. It does not have adequate nutrition required for a ferret. Even if you don't take the time to read the ingredients, you can tell just by looking at it, it has all those red and yellow dies. It will make your ferrets waste discolored and very smelly.

My ferret was on this food when I purchased her. However, I noticed quickly that she never ate all of this kibble. She would eat the best pieces and leave the rest in her bowl. About half of this kibble went to waste. It's low price may be attractive, but you will throw half of it in the trash. I switched my ferret to Totally Ferret, a superior and more expensive product - but it's totally worth it.

Katytee Ferret Fiesta Food

This is not a good food for ferrets. Ferrets are true carnivores, and can not digest and process plant proteins. They need a diet high in meat protein, and free of grains like rice.
