Product was shipped fast and got to me 4 days faster then what was stated . Works well with my 2.5 gallon tanks ( I have 2 and also got 2 of these light strips ). They light my aquariums well. Only thing i can say bad about the light strip is , that it dose not fit well on the 2.5 gallon tanks , little long by about 1/2 inch but that's fine with me . And the whole thing is made from thin plastic , but if took care of it wont be a prob.
Pros: looks good, provides good light for the aquarium, has a holder that dubble stick tapes on to hold it
Cons: little long on a 2.5 gallon tank, has a twise on/off knob ensted of a push button

Very nice unit for inexpensive lighting needs... these strip lights are used on my 2.5 gal freshwater plant tanks with full-spectrum 10w cf screw-in bulbs. I've had great success with my plants as a result. Ordering from PETSMART.com was painless, and a very pleasant transaction (item was in stock, total price including shipping was very fair, and shipping was fast).

When I purchased this light I was a little unsure of the performance I'd get from it since I could not find alot of information about it. However I was very pleased when I recieved my light and set it up on my 2.5 gallon nano reef. The light uses a 15 watt bulb which delivers plenty of light to my reef inhabitants. The light sits nicely on top of the tank and is held in place by a bracket thats included with the lamp.
I would recommend this light to anyone with a 2.5 gallon aquarium whether its fresh or saltwater.
