No doubt about it; my cats love this.
BUT, the batteries didnt last long. When I pulled them out to find out the battery number, there was nothing printed anywhere on them. What a pain.

I do like that its metal construction and not plastic. But I would prefer a button that stays clicked down and doesnt have to be held constantly.

My kitten loves the laser toy!!! The problem is that I have to keep pressing down on the button. It wont't stay on when you let go of the button. After a couple of minutes, my arthritic fingers just can't keep pushing the button, much to the disappointment of Prescious Penelope. After this review, I will shop for a laser toy that clicks on and stays on until I click it off.

Weary of how my aging kitties would respond to a laser pointer, I had yet to purchase one. Boy, do I regret that. While one of my kitties was afraid of this darting red dot, the other went completely nuts for it! Great exersize for him and fun for us both. Was intimidated by the price but that packaging was too hilarious to pass up!

Our two adult cats (~1.5 years) love to chase the light, and they get a lot of exercise and enjoyment out of it. 5 stars for that.
But this toy worked for a few days, then stopped working. My husband did some jiggery-pokery and got it to work again, if you're really careful about how you press the button. Even then, it's a bit iffy sometimes. So, 2 stars for the quality.

I first started buying laser cat toys for my cat about 2 years ago. He still loves them, and can spend hours chasing the light while I just sit and watch. Hardly any energy is required to use it (hand strength perhaps).This is by far the best cat toy that I have gotten for him yet. No other toy gets him as excited as his laser. The only con is that the laser lasts for only a few months. Luckily, replacements aren't too pricey. 5/5 stars, his satisfaction is all that counts.
Pros: my cat's favorite toy, easy to use
Cons: dies out in a couple of months

My cats absolutely go crazy for it, but my thumb gets tired from holding it really quickly and after less than five minutes the light starts fading and the cats can't see it. I am currently in the market for a different laser pointer with a long-lasting battery that I won't have to hold down the whole time.

Unfortunately, this wasn't a hit with our cat. She didn't show even a passing interest in it, and she's the type that enjoys stalking everyone and everything. I suppose it's just a matter of preference, however, I can't recommend it.

Both my cats enjoy hunting the light for as long as I'll keep doing it. I read that giving them a treat at the end of their hunt gives them a natural satisfaction for their hunt instincts. It works!

Our cat is a Maine Coon. She loves this toy!!!!!!!!! She can be in the other room and hear the chain attached to the light jingle and she comes running! This has become her toy of preference.

This product is poorly constructed. I had it only weeks until the spring on the switch broke off. I am going to get another laser but I will look for higher quality. I will say my dog was nuts about it.

I already have a million toys for our four cats but they just love this laser toy. One cat especially comes to our bed everynight and paws on the nightstand where her toy is and won't give up until she gets to play with it. He's almost addicted to it. Best toy ever for cats. I would recommend it to every cat owner.

my cat loves chasing the laser. When i play with the laser with my cousin's cats, the cats go crazy you can spin it in circles around them and they with chase it, get dizzy and fall on their sides. It is really funny.

My cat is normally very picky about toys - once he's figured them out, he gets bored of them. But this laser pointer still drives him crazy! No toy gets him running and jumping like this one. I highly recommend this to anyone who has a cat, as it's never a disappointment. My only complaint is that the battery started dying sooner then I would have liked (which I suppose is to be expected, considering how often we play with it).
