I have tried everything to get rid of my twin cat's worms. I stopped by Petsmart and found this product and tried it. To my amazement...it worked and my kitties feel better and the worms are all gone. Thanks Petsmart!

My cat is 17pnds and it only took one tab to clear him. He had tape worm before and I had to pay around 100 dollars at my vet. The tabs worked excellently-- In a day all was gone. We are very happy and worm free! By the way, to administer easily hide it in one of those pill treats. It only took a second!

I just bought this yesterday and I'm happy to say that my beautiful kitty now is worm free. When I saw that she had worms I felt like a horrible pet parent. Now I feel a ton better.

To administer the pill I just had to take the route of gently prying open her mouth and popping it in. She swallowed right away.

My cat goes outside and has had fleas several times. typically we treat our cat . Wash her and apply a flea treatment between the shoulders. We moved into a new house and she got fleas again we had to bathe her about 5 x times until they were gone. She did not have many I counted 8 - the last bath only 4 - theses must be superfleas frontline plus did nothing. Then I discovered the small flat kernels were she had been sleeping- TAPEWORM - this medicine is absolute super - my Cat took it rapped in turkey, very simple I broke it up . The bottle gives you no dosage requirements - one tablet did the trick- the fleas are gone as well. We sprayed the house changed all bedding and I also spayed the yard. It helps to get a yard spray and a cat spray leave in style - we are finally ahead of these fleas and rid of the tapeworm. No signs on the cat and she is now going back into the new litter box. Cats know not to go into an infested box. I clean the litter twice a day and still she did not use the old box. She went on the bed!!!! signs : Cat going to the bathroom everywhere but the box, self biting and small flat kernels left were she was laying. I also consulted a vet. This is a great product and I am happy it is available over the counter

I was really concerned when I saw little white rice size squigglies in my cats stool. With money being tight, a vet is not in the budget right now so I read the reviews and thought I would try and see if it would help my cat. Its a little pricey for 3 pills but Man oh Man was I pleasantly surprised, IT WORKED IN 1 DOSE. This was so worth the money, thank you so much for everyone who rated this so accurately for me to try. This is a definitely works pill. Use it with the Greenies Pill Popper and your cat will eat it with no problem.

There are so many reviews on here that I initially didn't think another review would be necessary. However, I thought I might give a quick tip to those cat lovers having trouble getting the pill down!

I hate having to do things that make my Ally unhappy...anything at all...and giving a pill makes her unhappy. So, I initially enticed her with a small treat. I think pulled her in close holding her facing me. I gently squeezed on her cheeks and she opened her mouth (a bit reluctantly). I dropped the pill in, she swallowed almost immediately, and we were done. I did watch her for the next couple of minutes to insure she did not spit it up...and as added insurance, I gave her a second little treat (which made her forget how mean I was to her, lol).

I thought this might help others who have difficulty with the pills (seemingly the only negative listed).

My poor meows ended up getting worms from my old roommates dog. They were sad, depressed lil kitty's. Since these worms are transmitted by fleas, we got them some flea drops first (they were already clean, but better safe that sorry) then started to treat the worms.

We tried everything! The generic deworming liquid from the pet aisle of the mega store - bunk. Wormwood drops - bunk. We even tried garlic (I know, but it was much less than the toxic amount for cats) and well, that was bunk too.

The tabs are a bit pricey, so I was worried they wouldn't work, and more money would be wasted. I bought one of these 3-packs for my 4 cats, and gave each one 3/4s of a pill. Two of my cats ate the pill up like candy, no problem. The other two? We had to mix it in with wet food, THEN shove it down their throats. They forgave us pretty quickly though.

The next morning, all signs were looking good. Clean bums, clean litter. We didn't get any of the adverse effects like upset tummy or diarrhea. It seemed too good to be true, so I waited 3 more days before posting this review. IT WORKED!

Wow, it worked, and my meows seem so much happier and full of energy. They're playing again, and rolling around on the floor, showing off their cutes. The smallest one is already putting back on some weight (...and the fat one is still fat, lol)

I wish I had just tried this first, it's a great and EFFECTIVE product.

I purchased this product twice for my cat and it cleared up the tapeworms every time. Works great with pill pockets, she scarfs the pill down faster than any other treat. The thing is, due to the resilience of fleas this last winter, she got them back every time. It's a great product at a good price considering what you would pay a vet. Just make sure you are completely sure you don't have any fleas at all before you use the pills or it's a waste of money. It's really worth the cost to invest in a good flea treatment to avoid the fleas and the little white worm segments that they inadvertently leave on the furniture. After that, this product is vet quality without vet pricing, what more could you ask for.

My kitten had fleas, and in turn, ate one while grooming herself, we found a couple sesame seed looking things, and two tapeworms roaming on her fur.

Unable to get to the vets office immediately, I researched like no other on the internet, and came across this product. I was very skeptical since it was an over the counter product, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it after the wonderful reviews.

We purchased her a little treat - some wet blue buffalo kitten food - and mashed up half a pill into the food. She ate that up in no time.

The following day we saw no diarrhea (like we expected), but her gas was a little bad. She appeared much brighter, and a lot more playful, and since she took the pill, there hasn't been a sign of any tapeworms.

Very happy kitty mother!

Well, I have two cats and I was seeing these little rice like things on Kitty's bottom and did some research and found out that they were tapeworms. UGH Then I did a little more research for a product that would take care of them without having to go to the vet if possible (money is tight these days), and found Tradwinds Tape Worm for cats. I read the reviews and thought I would give them a try and I'm so happy that the tape worms are GONE!!! Amen! I would recommend this to anyone who has a healthy cat! I gave a 4 star rating only for the fact that my cats really didn't like us dropping a pill down their throat. lol Thanks so much Tradewinds!

When I discovered segments in my kittens bed I was completely mortified. She was immediately quarantined to the 1/2 bathroom and all surfaces were sprayed with Lysol as well as vacuumed. I searched frantically online for something that was quick and effective. Well thank goodness I found it!!!! Fed kitten at 12 on Tuesday and by Wednesday morning when I checked her bed again there was NOTHING!!! So being a skeptic I kept her quarantined for the rest of Wednesday to my amazement still no segments!!!!!!!!! Well worth the $9 a pill it cost. I only gave her 1/2 a pill due to her weight and that was all she needed. So thankful to find this product!

I was mortified when I realized that my cat had tape worms and wanted them gone asap! I came on here and read all the positive (and some not so positive) reviews and decided to give this product a shot. The same night I received e pills I crushed one pill into about a tbs of canned food. My cat took a couple of bites and walked away. I decided that since he loves dry food I would try it one more time since he only took a couple of bites. The next morning I crushed a 2nd pill and mixed it in with a little of his dry food and success! He ate it! Like the others I must say that within 24 hrs I did not and do not see any more tape worms. I highly recommend this product because I too was skeptical in the beginning.

I bought this product Hearing great things about it. I'm not sure if it works because my cat will not even touch it. I crushed it up really fine and mixed it into his wet food and he had one taste of it and smell and won't even touch it. I'm sure it works with all the great testimonials consumers have made on here but the one problem with this product is the taste for the cat and the fact that it is in pill form that i have experienced with this product. So if you think your cat will eat anything give it a try but if he/she is particular like mine, your better off going to the vet for an injection treatment.

I'm so thankful I found this product! As anyone who has dealt with a pet suffering from a tapeworm can attest, it is DISGUSTING! You want to get rid of the problem as quickly as possible. I gave my 12 lb. cat 1 1/2 tablets and within less than 24 hours he is completely worm free. I stuffed the pills in a Greenies pill pocket and my cat happily ate them. Now I have 1 dose left just in case he needs it later on. This medicine isn't exactly cheap, but it's certainly much less expensive than a trip to the vet!

This product works exactly the same as the pills you get from the vet. The only difference is the price. It is so refreshing to be able to do something medically required for your pet and not be soaked by a vet doctor. For those who say it did not work on their animal - you definitely then need to have it seen by a vet, as maybe there is something else wrong OR please read the directions carefully and remember to actually weigh your cat first. I had to use only 1/2 pill to dose my cat who had no apparent side effects. I thought she did and felt even better with this at home remedy - could be contributed to the fact that she did not have be to crated, ride in a car, be prodded by a vet which most cats despise, then dragged back home. Considering that we need only 1/2 pill - this works out to 6 doses for us, this makes it quite cost effective as well. Meow!!

I had to give this to my kitten sense she used to be a stray and I noticed that she had tapeworm segments and these pills work fast and I also got PurrScriptions Squeeze-On for Cats and Kittens to get rid of her fleas and that worked :D and I really recommend this product if you have a cat/kitten that has tapeworms oh and I gave a 1 star rating for pet satisfaction cause it was a hassle giving her a half a pill

I left my kitten with a friend who also had a kitten. A week later my kitten had worms in his feces. I didn't want to pay for expensive Vet fees so I read the reviews for this product and went straight to PetSmart. This product is about double the price from the store than if you buy it online but worth every penny. I didn't want to wait another 3-5 days to get it in the mail so I went to the store. I gave my kitten one dose that morning and by the evening there were no more worms in his feces and no side effects. I am more than happy with this product. I saved about $125 in vet fees and it worked in less than 24 hrs.

Pros: fast and effective

Cons: pill form but min. issues
