I have some cats that hang out in our neighborhood and of course i feed them because i can't stand to see an animal suffer and i noticed one of them was losing weight and her coat was getting dull and then she threw up a worm. I researched everything and called the nearest vet and explained the situation. I bought this product and gave it to the cat and she ate the food that was doused in her weight appropriate dosage and 2 days later she was back to her loving self and now she is gaining weight and her coat is shiny again.
Pros: no taste for the cat (or doesn't seem to), fast acting, price is great, only one to two doses required

I have used this product to effectively treat roundworms in my 8-dog kennel. I usually have to worm 2 to 3 times per year and sometime repeat worming within a couple weeks.
My older dogs have less worm infestation problems than the pups, but when a pup has roundworms I have to worm all the dogs since they can pick it up from nosing around the pup's feces and picking up the worm's eggs. This product is one of the most effective I have found of the over the counter wormers for round worms.....for the price.
if you don't know what kind of worms your pet has then it would be best to take a fresh fecal sample to the vet to find out what you have to kill. The most common is round worms and this worm IS effective against roundworms. It won't be effective against other worms such as tapeworms, hookworm, pinworms, etc...... in which case you might be wasting your money. Round worms are the largest, white worms to be found in the feces. Tapeworms segments look like grains of rice in the feces. The vet can also check for tiny worm eggs , in case there's no entire worm present. Consult a vet if your pet is sick, malnourished or less than 4 months old, since this wormer is a strong chemical. After worming you MUST clean up all the feces all over the pet's yard, since the pet can easily reinfect itself with worm eggs in the feces. You might consider a topical wormer if your pet gets reinfested from sources outside its yard..... some once per month flea treatments also kill round worms.
Take worming seriously folks.
The first sign of worm infestation could be that the pet loses weight even though you are feeding a lot. Left untreated, the worms can actually damage your pet's internal organs and even kill it. And you can get worms from them also.

My mom wouldn't take my cat to the vet,so I had her buy this for my cat, hoping and praying that it would work. After a few weeks,he no longer had worms and he was back to normal.

I tried another brand before this, which only caused aggrivation for me as well as my cat. After giving this to my cat the recommended 2 doses for starting she was worm free. Plus all I had to do was mix the dewormer into my cat's food, the other had to be givien to the cat by itself via seringe or pouring into their mouth. My cat couldn't even notice D-Worm in her food, if she did she liked it.

After researching all the wormers on the store shelf, I found that D-Worm had the highest percentage of active ingrediant. I was confident when I purchased this product that it work work for us. Boy, was I wrong. After dosing as directed ( 3x ) we still have worms and now I have to take all three of my cats to the vet. Should have saved my money, not to mention the gas used to drive to the store.
