Produces slimy water and almost no grass, November 17, 2007

"Bought the seed pods looking forward to having my condo-bound cats have some fresh grass. But all this thing does is make the drinking fountain water really slimy and disgusting and the so-called "grass" consists of about 10-15 skinny blades of grass. The picture is very misleading -- I've tried two of these things and neither has grown to look even like 1/3 of the grass in the picture on the package. The cats aren't even tempted and you will have more work cleaning out the fountain every few days because of the slime produced. Very disappointing and not worth the money or time."

Easy to use, lives longer than potted grass, May 5, 2007

"I bought this for our cat fountain - which isn't a drink well - and it worked great. The grass grew with in a few days and our cats love it. It is cheaper and much easier to upkeep than the potted grass and lasts much longer."
