This is great stuff. The high fat content keeps your dog's coat nice and shiny. When I found this to be too expensive I bought flax meal and started adding that to my dog's food. Didn't really notice a difference in terms of efficacy. The key with this stuff is its a highly convenient, easy to use, and effective dietary supplement. If you are a penny pincher like me with a little ingenuity and some nutritional expertise there are other sources for omega 3/6 oils that are cheaper.
Pros: easy to administer, works great
Cons: price

This supplement doesnt explain in the description that it is a bag of powder, and you are supposed to sprinkle it on your pets food.If you have a finacky pet,you can forget it.Also,it is a large bag about 10x6 inches, and you are supposed to refridgerate after opening. My dog is very smart. She took a sniff, looked at me,and said; YOU EAT IT....
Cons: price, Taste, Hard to Administer

My chocolate lab has dry skin that makes his coat dull. These supplements alone have greatly improved both skin and coat. We love them.

I first heard of this years ago when I rescued Greyhounds. Since a lot of these guys had been dumped...their hair and skin condition was pretty bad. We heard of this stuff from our vet and tried it...within days we could tell the difference. They looked better...hair was growing back faster on these guys than it did on the ones without it, the red spots from rash and allergies almost vanished within the first week. After one month they had more energy and looked better than dogs we had rescued before them with no problems. It can be used with any foods you feed....but we still stayed away from corn ( or cornmeal ) based foods to insure a nice looking coat and less dry skin.
