My cat does like this comb as it seems to give her a nice back and rump massage, but her fur is so fine and silky that it slips right through the blades. I use it as a kitty toy for Isis now.
I would highly recommend this for use with pets that have dense undercoats and longer fur. I used this on my late Golden Retriever mix and it worked like a charm, as well as on my parents' Maine Coon. For super-silky cats with short, fine fur this just doesn't attract the fur well enough.
