"Although inexpensive, this carrier for my 5 month old kitten's first visit to the vet didn't hold up for 5 minutes. My kitten pushed up on the end tab, got out in the car, and I could no longer get the tab to close securely! Don't buy it. Spend more money on something you can use securely and repeatedly."

Pros: opens from the top

"I adopted a cat and was given this carrier by her previous owner. Although it offers the benefit of being able to put your cat in from the top (rather than pushing him or her through a side door), it is very flimsy and not sturdy at all. My cat was able to break the latching pieces and escape within a minute by simply pushing her head against the top! I would only recommend this for a calm pet who does not get distressed by going into a carrier (and mine doesn't qualify). Otherwise, get something more sturdy!"

"This was great from bringing our kitten home from when we first bought her. However, after that, she escaped from it everytime we put her in it. Would not waste money on it - would buy something sturdier."
