This has worked perfect for my application. I use it to keep my mousebird warm, since they have problems with thermal control of temperature. It's great, built tough, has a good protected cord, and at only25 wts no fear of it overheating.

Hedgie loves it!

I bought this about 5 months ago for my hedgie as a little extra warmth for the winter. He loves it, definitely worth the money. The only thing I don't like is the texture on the plastic is kind of hard to clean. He isn't too messy of a little critter but when he does make a mess on the top of the pad, cleaning it requires a little extra elbow grease and a light scouring pad.

It seems very safe and heavy duty. I place it inbetween his "hedgie hut" and the fleece liners of his cage.

Pros: very safe

Cons: kind of hard to clean top surface

I completely loved this! My ferret gets cold easily, so i bought this product with high doubts and low expectations. Man, was i wrong! My ferret blizzard loves it, and sleeps on it everyday!
I recommend it, TOTALLY! worth more than what i payed for it! I would have payed 20 dollars more for it if i had to, it's that great!

Pros: warm works great!

We got this fvor our outdoor bunny and he LOVES it! He has a very cozy house which he can go in for warmth, but we often see him out ditting on his "bun warmer" instead, even in the coldest weather. worth it's weight in carrots! (at least!) the only issue we found was the plastic coating around the metal cord casing was not bunny proof- he chewed it off the first 10 minutes it was in the cage. the cord itself was fine, but bits of plastic were all over- noy sure why they coated the metal casing that way.

Pros: keeps our bunny happy and warm when the temps are

Cons: black plastic coating on cord was chewable

Warm and Cozy!

This product is great! Especially for guinea pigs like Peanut, who is hairless. This heating pad creates a warm and inviting home for Peanut. I usually use this during the winter or cool days. Peanut loves it! And was very easy to use, I just had to choose the temperature to set it at. It's also very easy to clean and nibble proof! It may seem a bit pricey, but I know its worth it, because it for Peanut's comfort! And it is only 25-watts! This is a must have for Skinny Pigs around the world! I would recommend it to anyone with a hairless critter! Thanks!
