My 11 cockatiels and 1 parakeet love this product when the squares are soft; unfortunately they are often very hard. I find them hard about 65% of the time and when they are hard my birds won't eat them. When the squares are soft they provide a fantastic hand feeding treat. The one on one with the birds is as much fun for me as eating the squares is for the birds. When the squares are soft, they are as great a training treat as spray millet.

Not healthy as a full diet, but otherwise a terrific treat. Contains both seed and pellets and can be a good way to introduce picky eaters to pellets. Or your birds might just ignore the pellets.

I like these best because they're the only commercially available treat my bird likes. She has fun tearing them up and sometimes will forget to actually eat them.

Pros: contain pellets

Cons: not a full diet

I use this as a treat for my parakeets. I wrap a small piece in spinach leaves and clip on the side of the cage. They just love it. A healthy chewy treat.

My 5 birds love Avi Cakes!

I have three conures and two cockatiels. I use Avi Cakes as a reward/treat rather than a food, but they absolutely love them! They go crazy when I go anywhere near the red bag :) The Avi Cake keeps them occupied (especially the conures) for quite some time. They are a healthy, all natural treat, and my birds devour them almost completely, leaving very little mess (although some) on the floor.
