I knew I wanted to start my fish with flakes, so I began by getting a container of these. To my happiness, my four Zebra Danio's enjoy this stable meal. I feed them once a day six times a week. They really look forward to dinner time and readily eat up most of the flakes I drop in. However, there is one thing. When feeding these flakes to fish with miniscule mouths like the Danio's, make sure to crush them just enough to fit, but not so much that they turn to dust. If they are too large, the fish will attempt to eat them only to spit them out again. If they are too small, it is likely they will not take an interest.

I have been feeding standard fish flakes for years and my fish have always eaten fairly well. I bought this food as a part of a combo pack of conditioners that was on clearance at Petsmart. The first time I fed this food, my fish ate like little monsters. I had never seen them react that way to food before, not even frozen or live brine shrimp. After the fish begin picking at the crisps, they begin to break up and do seem to dirty the water a little bit, but the fish swim around and eat until all the little bits are eaten up. While I wish the ingredients were on par with Omega One, I will continue to feed this food because my fish love it so much.

Pros: price, high quality, taste

These things are amazing. They float for a while so my Gourami enjoys them. My Tetra and Platy go crazy for them also. Even my Corys will nibble and eat them.

i have 4 platys and a swordtail, and they ADORE this food! once they see it at the top of the tank, they race each other to the top. all the fish steal one anothers and in the end eat too much!:) the only downside is that their 'waste' is red from the coloring and not as easy to digest. overall yummy!

I always had problems over feeding with flake food. Not anymore as recommend one crisp per one inch of fish, so now water is clear and fish are happy.

The fish like them, they are just a little big for smaller fish to eat whole, so I crunch them up a little bit before I give them to my fish.

Junior (named after Ken Griffey, Jr.) is an orange guppy who loves his fishy food. My younger sister wanted a fish, after my brothers guppies, Flash and Spot, died. We tried different food with Junior, and he absolutely loves it! The food does not cloud the water. The BEST fish food!

My Fish didn't really care for this food. It was a little too "crispy" for them. They would try to eat it and after they took one little nibble the crisp sank to the bottom. They crisps didn't seem to dissolve or cloud the water but my rocks had scattered little dots of "crisps" all over them.

At first I thought my fish wouldn't go near these flakes because of their crispy texture, but quite the contrary. He goes nuts over it. Plus these flakes don't cloud the water, or become crumbs by the time you get to the bottom of the container.

I have used this product since it was first introduced. I have many varieties of fish including tetras. barbs, goldfish, guppies, mollies, and even minnows, and they all love it. I like it because it floats and then slowly sinks. The fish seem to get more to eat and it does not cloud the water. I prefer this over regular flake food and my fish are doing well.

Unlike other foods, it comes with directions based on the size of your fish. Also it isint messy like flakes and you can see if it all gets eaten, unlike sinking foods that disolve. My fish also really seem to enjoy the taste and it is fun to watch them eat it. Great buy.

My fish will not eat the regular flakes now and it is not near as messy as flakes. I have very little wasted with the crisp. I highly recommend to anyone.
