Effectiveness
This product is convenient to have instead of buying a big bag of aquarium salt and figuring out how much to use. This product is easy to use, works well and my hermit crabs like going in this salt water. I just pour a bit in and water in the dish.
Pros: easy to use, convenient size

I use the all time! I put a little bit in their hermit crab pool and they love it! i also put some in the sand and stir it up. This stuff is cheap and comes in a big contanier. It is a great product and i would give this to anyone!
Pros: healthy for hermit crabs, cheap, come with a lot of salt, great quality

this is amain put a little less then the instructions and my crabs go nuts for it on the first day works instantly

My crab seems to avoid the water when this salt is used... But I simply had to add a little more fresh water to it so it was a little less salty and he loved it! TIP for everyone out there using it... use a little less salt than the instructions say! A small amount goes a long way!

This product is a must have for providing a healthy source of calcium to your crabs. I buy it a small canister because I don't use it up quickly.

when used properly this product is amazing!! my hermit crabs love their salt water pool and play in it almost every day. I wouldn't use any other product

I bought this product thinking it would be easier (and cheaper) to mix my own salt water at home for my crabs, but my crabs really don't like this product. Neither do I.
Following the mixing instructions, the water is left cloudy and quite a bit of undissolved salt simply floats to the bottom (I mix up a bottle's worth of water at a time so I have it on hand and ready to use). I've had to further dilute it so that my crabs will go near it, but they're still not happy with it.

This stuffs pretty much a waste of money. Hermie's need a constant dish of salt and freshwater deep enough for the largest Hermit to submerge to their eyes in their tats and they need to be changed every few days. This containers so small it wont last you but maybe a week! You'd be much better off buying something like Instant Ocean, Oceanic, Red Sea or something similar to use.

I hate this!!! My hermies hate it too!! They used to love thier baths but then they would try to climb out!!! I stopped using it it was so bad.

Hermit crabs love salt water. My crabs absolutaly loves drinking salt water.
P.S. Do NOT give your crabs table salt. Only give them eather this hermit crab salt OR salt for salwater fish tanks. Both work very well.
