Okay for young guinea pigs

This food is okay for young guinea pigs, but NOT for adult pigs. Since it is alfalfa based, it should only be feed until your pig is 6 months or older (unless pregnant). Once your guinea pig is over 6 months old, they should be feed a Timothy hay based pellet. Always check your guinea pig pellets for alfalfa and avoid giving food with seeds or high in sugar.
