I have a 7 1/2 year old desert tortoise that absolutely loves this food. This tortoise is quite a character. It seems to be partial to the color purple and picks out all the purple pieces of food and eats them. Then if still hungry goes back for some of the red, green or tan pieces. It does the same thing with organic lettuces.

Very good food for small and large tortoise. All of the tortoise really chow down on the food! It has a good smell when it is opened, which catches their attention. I love the larger size container since I own several tortoises and turtles. This makes it so much simpler when ordering and is less expensive in the long run.

My turtles love this food. They wont eat it all the time though. But it is a cheap alternative to other expensive food so I like to mix it in with there diet occasionally.

I have 3 russian tortoises who all refuse to eat this product. Even after mixing the pellets in with their greens they just munch around them. When I just leave pellets in there, they walk over them, refusing to even sniff them. I think I will just stick to my greens!

I have a Red Head Cherry Foot Tortoise and he loves this stuff. At first he didn't care for just the pellets, so then I added a little water to make it soft and mix in various kinds of stage 2 baby foods and he eats every last bit of this every day. Will continue to feed this to him as long as we own him.

My picky turtles and tortoise refused to eat this, but as soon as my blue-tongue skink saw this he loved it! I just spill some pelletes out and he eats every one! My Ben is super picky, and its great to finally find something he loves! It's balanced nutrionally and I feel good feeding this to my babies. It's easy to feed, just pour out into a dish and you're good to go. I love this stuff, and I can smell the fruity-ness. Seriously, don't believe me? Open this jar up and you can smell the real fruit that is used in making these pellets.

Pros: smells like real fruit, pet loves it, easy

I have two African Spur Thigh Tortoises.. They LOVE this stuff. They have only a fresh veggie diet for the past three years, when I noticed a bit of soft shell.. ONE week... one, and their shells have firmed up, they are healthier with a lot more energy
