All I have to say is get one small bottle because you wont need much I still have enough for 6 more treatments with just the small bottle this stuff works great!!! I used this stuff in my 50 gallon tank and in one day it was as clear as could be. this stuff works great. Just follow the directions and you well be in good shape. But I well say the if you still think you need one more treatment hold on a day or two then remove your filters and clean or replace them. Then do maybe a half treatment because if this stuff did not get it one the first shot you might need to just do a water change.

Do not buy this product unless you want to compound your problem. My 75 gallon tank looked a little cloudy so I purchased this item and followed the usage directions. My tank was way worse, I waited 10 hours and ended up draining the tank and refilling!! Makes a slightly cloudy tank really cloudy!! The only reason I gave 1 star is that's the minimum....it deserves 0 stars

I just recently started an aquarium for my wife and I, and within a few days the water started getting cloudy in our 20 gallon tank. After doing some research I figured out that I needed a clarifier, or an algae control product. Since it was only within a few days of putting my fish in the tank I decided to give this a try first, and it worked wonders. My tank water now looks like the day that I set it up. API products have not failed to impress me, and they now have a very loyal customer.

I've always liked/used API products. Before purchasing this product because I'm a little apprehensive just adding chemicals to the tank. I did water changes every day 20-25% and have a bigger filter running that what's required (I have a 50 running on a 25 gallon). My water still didn't clear up and it wasn't a bacteria bloom either.

I bought the API accu clear and it really does work in a matter of hours! There must have been some dust particles or something in my tank because what it does it clump dust/dirt particles together so you can easily use a gravel vaccum to suck it all out. This doesn't do well with algae but it really works to clean your tank! I'm so impressed with this and only had to use a single dose!

Pros: easy to use, works in a matter of hours

Cons: none!

I have a 50+ gallon fish tank with 8 medium to large goldfish that were previously living in a 100+ gallon waterfall pond. After awhile the tank water became "thick and murky." I had purchased two different filtration systems and numerous replacement filters but nothing was working. I purchased this product hoping that it would help. At first, it seemed to help only a little bit. However, I kept repeating the dose every day for a week and now the water is sparkling clear and beautiful. Additionally, I changed our fish diet from pellets to flakes, which helped me to stop overfeeding them. I highly recommend this product. Though it may take a little time and persistence, the product works great.

I have the small, eyedroper, size of this product for my 2.5 gallon tank. It works great when used while doing a water change to help settle the particles quickly. I haven't had as much luck with it when the water is really disgusting and needs a water change. But overall, it's a great product that I use on a weekly basis.

I love this stuff. It has cleared up even my cloudiest tanks at work and at home. My supervisor even uses it a lot, too. I like how it works fast and accurately. I have usually seen my water go from cloudy to crystal clear within 48 hours. I even use it on my coldwater tanks and I am amazed at how fast it makes them clear as well. I would recommend this product fot tropical fish or goldfish as well.

I was disappointed with API as far as this product is concerned. They usually make great stuff. Accu-clear, however, didn't do anything for the murkiness in my water. I bought it because of the other reviews saying how it took only hours to completely clarify their water. Not so. I even dosed the aquarium on the following day after a water change. Still cloudy. I have also had the same experience with all other so-called water clarifiers, regardless of the brand.
