Everyone who owns tropical fish should own aquarium salt! It does so much good and covers many aspects of fish care.

Just be careful adding it to your tank. You can overdose your fish if you do not frequently change water, as it does not evaporate from the tank but is removed during water changes. Especially in something like a small Betta tank! So read the instructions carefully.

I use aquarium salt as a de-stresser as well as to promote healthy fish, I put the recommended amount into the water every week when I do a 25 percent water change and thus far I haven't had any problems with stressed out fish.

I also used it when I was introducing my two mollys to my betta tank, as both a preventative and again as a de-stresser. This product has really worked well for my tank and Im really glad I bought some.

My betta fish Comet really benefits from this product! A few days ago I noticed that he was getting lethargic and wasn't eating, so I changed his water and put some salt in it. Now, he's swimming around, has a huge bubble nest, and is taking interest in eating again! I am so happy. I would definitely recommend this product over chemicals.

I love this aquarium salt! When I first set up my 60 gallon hex, I got ick because one of the fish was in an ick infested tank, and I was a newbie at this fish keeping stuff. So, my whole entire tank ended up with ick. I was told to use aquarium salt until I could get ick treatment. I put the salt in, and the next morning when I woke up, the ick had significantly cleared up. I kept the salt in for another 4 days and the ick was completely gone. The same thing happened when my betta had fin rot. Give this a try if you're not using this already. Use it in freshwater aquariums as well.

i put 4 platys and a swordtail in my 10 gallon tank, and all theyy would do would be usually hanging round the bottom of the tank. once i added this salt, they are up and running! great with starter fish.

My Betta Gimbles got stress because i changed is water, would not eat at all or swim like he used to, knew that i stress him out, did not know what to do...i remember reading reviews on this product and decided to but it....WOW WOW WOW, after i added in his water, 30 min later he started swimming and eating, a MIRACLE PRODUCT. i will always keep in hand.

I use aquarium salt after every water change to help keep fish healthy and less stressed. It also works well for high nitrite levels until you are able to perform a water change. I would recommend this product to anyone with a freshwater fish tank. It's simple to use, inexpensive, and does wonders for the fish when used correctly

I got this aquarium salt so that I could create a brackish environment for my Fiddler and Red Claw Mangrove Crabs. It comes in nice size crystals that can be easily measured and dissolves quickly in water. The crystals are not even messy so if you spill any like I did, you will be able to clean it up with your fingers, and you dont need to pull out the vacuum. My crabs and I like it and they have been happy and healthy for the longest time. I will definitely buy some more when my current supply runs out.

My betta was really stressed out and was biting his tail frequently because of stress. After buy this miracle, he was quite active and was no longer biting his tail. This was probably the best investment towards my fish that i ever made, beside the fish it self.

this stuff works great I have a fancy goldfish setup in a new 55 gallon tank it is the first fish i have introduced to the new tank and it spent most of its time for its first 2 days around the bottom corner of the tank not eating and exhibiting other signs of constipation. At first I thought the fish was just stressed from the move but then it started to become very lethargic and seemed to float neutrally buoyant when it wasnt hiding in the corner. I took the fish out and soaked it in 1/4 tsp of salt with 1 teaspoon of stresscoat and about a quart of water for about 5 minutes, while I did this i added the recommended amount of salt to the aquarium 1/2 teaspoon per gallon for goldfish so about 9 tablespoons for 55 gallons. (use far less for tropical fish) In less than 4 hours the fish has made what seems to be a total recovery and is swimming around normally and with energy. Great stuff miracle cure!

This is the best stuff in the world for fin rot. I started using it in my tank three days ago and my betta is almost completely cured after having it for almost two months!! It has also helped his gills. An overall amazing product for freshwater fish.

Whenever I get a fish that has been in a community tank i add this aquarium salt to the water to help ensure that my new fish hasn't caught anything that could harm them or when I rescue a sick betta that has been poorly taken care of this product usually does the trick. It also works well if the fish has been fed too much and is constipated. If the fish gets really sick i'll put them in a small holding tank and give them a salt bath for a few mintues. Works like a charm.

I have been using Aquarium Salt for a couple of years now and have been sold with the product ever since. I use it every time that I do a water change and I like the fact that it is natural. I also use it when a fish gets stressed out and it has always worked wonders to calm the fish down. Since I started using this product I have noticed that my Tetras have been more active and hide less. I have also noticed that their gill function is always great. My tetras have also showed better coloration since I started using it and I have noticed less torn and diseased fins as well. This product is a must for any aquarium owner.
