i admired this moss in the hermit crab habitat at petsmart, and desided to try it with my own hermies (wesley and inigo). they really seemed to like it! it looks wonderful in their habitat, and it seems to keep it more humid. i recomind this product!

I use this in my Leopard Geckos moist hide (I provided a picture) It helps him shed and smells like moist soil so it is not stinky and sticks together. One thing I don't like about it is that the moisture does not last so it needs to be sprayed every day.

My baby leopard gecko does not hide under the log with the flukers moss so I decided to figure out why. I quikly found the answer, I had not been spraying the moss enough and it was very dry. I quickly grabed my spray bottle and sprayed it sever time, and only after a few seconds it became soft. I am a little disapointed that there are no directions on how to use the moss but other than that it is a great product. :)

I bought this when I got my baby gecko and he loves it! He spends the whole day in his cave doing nothing but enjoying the moss. The moss smell great and since i live in the swamps i like the smell. The color is attractive and it stays fresh for a long time!

We used this in a moist hide area for our leopard gecko habitat under a ceramic cave (they like both moist and dry hide areas). We misted it daily or every other day to keep it moist and it made a soft cozy bed for him. He spent most of his sleeping time in it. The moisture is helpful especially when they are shedding. If you use it for this purpose just use a small amount - it expands as it soaks up water and can end up filling the whole cave!

Make sure you monitor the appearance and odor of the moss. It stays nice and green and smells really pleasant when you mist it while it is fresh. You can tell when it's time to change it because it starts to turn dark green or brown and does not smell as fresh (don't wait for it to smell bad!!).

We have also used it in an enclosure for green tree frogs and froglets (juveniles that have just become frogs). It keeps the enclosure humid if it's kept moist enough so you don't have to mist as often. The moss stays fresh longer when out in the open.

Our lepord gecko is growing rapidly, so he sheds almost every month. An employee at PetSmart told us to cut a hole in a tubawear contianer and recomended filling it with wet Fulker Farm Moss. We did as she said and the moistness of the moss losenes the gecko's skin and, if you run it under warm water and wring it out, it makes the eviornment humid. Our gecko loves it, and the moss is so soft that I would imagine it is pretty comfortable.
