ive had my freshwater Tiger Oscar tank running for about 18 months and never have a issue, just started a saltwater reef tank last friday, and on day 8 i have no ammonia and liveable nitrites and 20ppm nitrates(decent level for reefs). ive always used Prime for tap conditioner because it cleans your tap water as well as detoxifying your tank safely and helps you maintain safe levels. If you care about your fish then you already have this, if there just your pet still go out and get this, if they could they would thank you for it.

I have a large bottle of Prime and use it every time to condition the water for my 37 gal. aquarium. It works really well for new aquariums especially (if you haven't cycled it) because it removes ammonia and nitrite. The conditioner lasts FOREVER.
Don't wait...go out and buy it!

Well it did do the job but it didnt remove ammonia nitrate and nitrite.

I have been using this product for years. It doesn't smell nice but if you have super chlorinated tap water like I do it really does the job. It makes tap water safe for all marine and freshwater fish. It is a total must have for anyone with fish!

As far as water conditioners go, I only use Prime. Firstly, it takes very little to condition my 55g freshwater tank, so though it looks expensive comparing prices ounce for ounce, it will actually last you much much longer. Prime is also good to use between water changes if you have a stressed fish or a sick fish that needs help recovering its slime coat. Finally, it is not harmful to plants or inverts! A truly trustworthy product and worth every single penny, IMHO. If you are looking for a great bargain, make the initial investment, as it will last you at least three times as long as other conditioners.

Prime is all you will ever need after you give it a try. It's all you're ever going to want to use. I live near the largest pet store in the country, and usually all the people that apply and work there are very knowledgeable. One of the people that work there told me that this was the best water conditioner on the market. I had a 20 gallon tank when I was younger, but hadn't had one since. It had been almost 10 years since I had the 20 gallon. So, I was looking for a little help when I decided to go back into the hobby. When he said it was the best water conditioner on the market, he literally was not kidding. It works instantly. I like to stir it around, just because I feel like it conditions the water better because it's being spread around, but that's just me. My friend just asked me what he should get for his betta, and I said Prime. He thought he should go for one that was specifically designed for bettas. In all honesty, you can use that betta conditioner if you want, but it's a lot easier to buy one water conditioner to use for multiple species of fish.

Prime is a great product I use with my 1 gallon and 5 gallon Betta tanks. I was using so much conditioner on my 5 gallon but prime cancels all of that out. I love the fact that I only need a few drops. Highly recommended.

I used to use Top Fin water conditioner, which was fine, but switched to this product a few months ago. My tank was cycled, but I still experienced some cloudiness from time to time. I performed weekly on my tank and kept a close eye on waste levels, but nothing seemed to be working. I switched to this product and my tank cleared right up. It seems like it is more expensive than other types of water conditioners, but it's not. It is actually much more concentrated than other brands. Only 2 drops for every gallon of water! My only problem with Prime is that it smells like sulfur, but it's only an issue when treating the water before I add it to my tank. Once Prime is in the water, there is no noticeable smell.

Pros: works great, easy to use

It had been weeks since I changed the water in my aquarium since I ran out of water conditioner. I had already did my research, and previously used API's Stress Coat. I liked it, but I felt it was too unconcentrated, and it left a goopy mess on the cap. I soon bought Prime. I changed the water and replaced the filter cartridge on my tank. 72 hours later, my tank is a crystal-clear ecosystem of fish . I am so glad to get the complement of Seachem Stability. I soon will add more fish, an am counting on the Seachem Power Duo of Prime and Stability to keep them alive!

Pros: super-concentrated, detoxifies the full spectrum of water chemicals, works with other products seachem or not, clear liquid, does not kill denitrifying bacteria

Cons: expensive but well worth it

I had too much nitrates which caused ammonia in my aquarium. I used this product for about two weeks and it worked great! My ammonia is down to zero. I have verified this with freshwater water tests. The way I kept track of progress was by smelling my water. If you have ammonia your water will smell bad. After about two weeks or so my water just smelled like regular water.

Prime is an amazing product! I use it on all my fish tanks and I love how easy it is to dose (at least the bottle with the dropper cap). I would reccommend it to anyone looking to keep an aquarium!

I bought a 16 gallon biorb and been having alot of trouble with it because i stocked it too fast.I have 8 small tropicals and 3 mystery snails in it.The ammonia levels went sky high,so i checked the web for some help.I have read alot about amquel and prime.I decided to use the amquel before i read about the prime.It seemed like it didn't work and i was very impatient,so i did some more research.I read alot of good things about prime and decided to try that.Now i have been using prime and stability for my biorb for about two or three days and my ammonia has now gone into the safe zone.My fish are more active and my ghost catfish doesn't hide anymore.It is absolutely wonderful.I hope they continue to make prime and stability forever.My tank is crystal clear and my fish have more color.I will use this product forever and it is very good for just starting a tank as well.I also used this for my start up on my 35 gallon hex.

Great product to use in between water changes when you just half to add a little water to your tank because of evaperation use this add to your tap water as instructions say and it makes tap water for your salt water fish tank safe. great product, I have used it several years.

I keep fancy goldfish in 3 large aquariums and this is all I have ever used for water maintenance. Highly concentrated so you dont need to use too much(one capful per 50 gallons). Very stinky but worth it!

As a Fancy Guppy breeder and a person who just loves fish in general (My 300+ gallons of tanks and 9 species + a Condy Anemone says it all. Lol!) I want the best for them and Prime is amazing. I trust it, recommend it and use it for all my tanks.
