Could not avoid adding fish to an uncycled tank...However, I successfully cycled the 50 gallon tank (full of fish) using this stuff along with "Prime" -- Couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend using it! Wham! Ammonia gone...tank cycled...I'm happy...my fish are happy...and the makers of "Stability" and "Prime" are GENIUSES!!!

I tried this product after reading amazing reviews. I was double dosing for the first few days without realizing it and then started normal dosing. It took 5 weeks to cycle my tank. Just as long as a fish-less cycle. So really, just go fish-less. But Seachem does make other amazing products. Sadly this is not one.

If you read the directions carefully and understand why you need to use this, it is so easy to use that there are no words. I used this to cycle my tank for three days before I added any fish. The first night the water was a bit cloudy, but that went away by the next morning. My Dalmatian Mollies have been doing wonderfully for a while now- I've even had a few babies.

This product works. It really does.

I started using Stability as soon as I set up my new tank, and it's been fantastic! I never had cloudy water or any other type of water problems, I was able to get a fish after only two days, and he survived the nitrogen cycle without any problems. I attribute this success to the awesome power of Stability! I will continue to use Stability whenever I introduce new fish and if I ever have problems. Love this product!

I own a 29 gallon tank and i used this product to start my tank i started with 6 assorted different fish i followed the directions on the container and by the next day i added 10 baby African Cichlid,s and kept up with the directions on the container and so far its been two weeks that i started my tank and my cichlids are doing great along with my other fish i would recommend this product to any one thats starting a new aquarium or doing water changes on a aquarium.

I LOVE this product! I bought it manly because I heard it cleans up gunk in your tank. I had a weird grass ornament that got clogged up with food. Since my tank was already cycled, I had no problem with cycling. I just used one cap, then in 24 hours, the tank looked cleaner, along with the decoration. Also, I have not had a single problem with ammonia.

By far the best product out there to help cycle a new tank. I just set up a 10 gal tank, and just three weeks in I have a fully stocked aquarium with the following fish, and NO issues...
-- 3 Sunset Platty's
-- 1 Swordtail Molly
-- 2 Blue Gourami's
-- 1 Ghost Shrimp
-- 2 Guppies
Granted, I do have a Penguin Bio-Wheel 150 filter as well, so that also helps w/biological filtration/build-up, but this would never be possible this soon without this product. I love Seachem, and this is just one more excellent product in their lineup. Just follow their directions & you're all set! Can get a tad pricey on a larger tank, but it's well worth it.

I used this to start my 29 gallon and 10 gallon freshwater aquariums. I added fish during the first week that I set up my tanks and had ZERO fish deaths. Ammonia and nitrites were ZERO every day that I checked.

My 10 gallon aquarium houses 9 Corydoras habrosus (and one male Betta), which are rumored to be very sensitive to water quality (ammonia and nitrites especially). I used SeaChem Stability for 1 day before I added my fish and they are very active and healthy 3 weeks later. (I do weekly 35% water changes which is also beneficial to water quality and their health.)

I used more than the recommended dosage (1 capful every day for about 1-2 weeks), mainly because it was easiest to measure 1 capful than a smaller amount. This did not seem to bother the fish in any way.

This product is cost-effective because it will prevent fish deaths due to a new cycling tank syndrome.

Who wants to wait more than a month for their tank to cycle before adding fish to a new tank? No one. Use SeaChem Stability so you don't have to wait *and* fish don't have to suffer due to our impatience. :)

I was terrified to cycle a tank with fish in it and did not think this would really work. I have a 10 gallon tank and started with 2 neon tetras. I used a capful everyday for a week and a week later added 1 Betta to my tank. A few days after that I added 3 guppies. A week after that added 2 albino cory fish and a frog. I added a capful every time I added fish (may have been overkill but I did not want them to suffer).

I have monitored my water the whole time and have not had any ammonia or nitrates in the danger zone. My water has been perfect during this first month of my aquarium. You would expect to see something with the biological load in my tank but the Stability has really help set up the necessary bacteria.

Pros: works!, easy to use, cannot use too much, reasonably priced, fish do not suffer

I like to use this anytime I change out 50% of my water or more. I also use this anytime I have to set up my hospital tank. Therefore, I only have to set up my hospital tank when I actually need it. I never have cloudy water or ammonia spikes when I am using it.

I run three large tanks, 40, 60, and 90 gallons. I have used this product to kick start a friend's tank that had been running with no fish for several months. She was able to add a good sized peacock cichlid to her tank with no cycling issues.
This is a good product to always have on hand in case of emergency. I don't use this product with regular water changes, as it's not necessary once your biofilter is well established.
I also use this product to help kick start quarantine tanks, along with a piece of filter floss out of an already running tank.

This is a good product, it starts out saying when you are just beginning your tank (the cycling process). To add a capful a day (depends on gallons) for 7 days, and what is great is that it also says you "may" add fish at any time during this process. I did and my fish to this day seem to be fine, I also add this sometimes during water changes. :]
