Man, this is the best cat toy ever! My cat will not play with anything else, and let me tell you I have invested in a BUNCH of toys for him. In fact, he'll carry it in his mouth and bring it to me so that we can play together. It has survived some strong tugs and the feathers are all intact. The stick bends a little, but I've had similar cat toys like this before and that's natural. I really recommend this toy.

My cat usually only plays with tiny toys that she can kick around and pick up easily, like those super cheap, itty bitty mice covered in fake fur or feathers. While she sometimes likes licking and chewing on the feathers on some of the smaller KONG toys (such as the "Feathered Mice Refillable" toy), most of the time she won't go for toys that size or larger because she finds them too heavy or something. (For example, she has pretty much zero interest in playing with the KONG squirrel we bought her.) My mom bought this teaser as a gift for her. I've bought other feathered teasers for her in the past, and while she might lick the feathers a bit in the beginning, she usually gets bored of those teasers pretty rapidly. WOW, was I wrong! She has been going NUTS for this thing, will drop anything she's doing if I wave it around, and has been dragging it around the house - something she only usually does for very small, lightweight things. She loves to chew not only on the feathers at the end, but the actual body of the "furry snake" as well. She has been going crazy over this thing so much that I decided I'd make an account just to review it. I hope KONG doesn't stop making these!

My cats LOVE this toy. It is super, super soft and very durable. It is a nice length unlike some other toys on a stick where they are too short. I have had this toy for 9-12 months with no issues what so ever.

Our cat recently has become in indoor cat, he hates being in! He is very picky on his toys, we bought this one hoping it would help get some energy out of his system. Well, it's taken him a few days but he absolutely loves it! Especially when we bring the toy to the stairs he goes crazy jumping on it and trying to rip it apart. So far so good it's holding up to his abuse.
Pros: long handle so your hand is out of the way.

I bought this for my kitten and with in the first week she pulled out all the feathers and soon lost interest. She will play with it from time to time if I dangel it around, but seldome will play with it by herself. Mostly chews on the end of the stick, which bends easily after a while. Possiably a better idea to loose the stick completely and just go with the tail itself?

I had a toy made out of a similar material that was sewn shut without the feathers on the end that I bought her on clearance for a dollar around Feb of last year. Since the day I brought that toy home my cat would bring that thing everywhere with her and sleep with it to the point it was so worn out and I had to knot the fabric but I couldn't find a toy that was made with the same material to replace it. I have been to many many pet stores and finally found this one and the SECOND I brought it home this was her new favorite and she started carrying it around. I strongly recommend this toy, it whips great too, which some toys dont without destroying them.
Anyone know where we can get the replacement feathers?
Pros: length, feathers
Cons: if the cat carries it around fabric part will wear

I have bought several of these teaser toys for my two kittens and so far they have been bored with all of them until I got this one.
This toy can keep them entertained for hours regardless of if I'm on the other end teasing them with it or not. The way you can swivel it makes it look like a real animal crawling across the floor or flying through the air and really gets their attention and gets them excited. They love dragging it around, chasing after it, and they'll even snuggle up with it on occasion and fall asleep.
Both of my cats are very picky when it comes to their toys, but this one never fails to entice them.

This is an excellent toy especially for kittens. My suggestion though is to remove it from the wand, and add another knot. The kittens will have fun dragging it around just like a prized kill (sorry). This also allows for others to jump onto the dragging end, and pull the other way.

we have three cats and our cats love them . we have 2 of them and i got another for a friend. The cats even ones that dont often play will play with this. They like the feathers and its very good quality. It has not fallen apart.

I have two 3 month old kittens and this is their favorite toy out of all their toys. They love to jump and try to claw the furry thing and they like to try to bite it. The only think I think would improve the toy would be to make a sturdier handle. The plastic handle bends when the kittens try to get the furry ball.

Our multi-cat household has enjoyed this toy more than any other. It is by far the best and most durable cat toy I've ever owned. From the oldest, seemingly laid-back older cat to 7-week-old feral kittens learning to be adoptable pets, all our cats go from 0 to 100 when this toy is teasing them. Some prefer it to fly like a bird over them, while others prefer you wriggle it across the floor. This is the only toy that has not been destroyed except for a squeaky mouse that hangs on a thick elastic bungee cord on a door; all other string type toys are destroyed in seconds at our house! After 5 years and over 20 cats counting our fosters, it's getting a little worn. I will buy another, but really it still has the potential for years of fun ahead. It's so easy it is to replace the end piece, with the Velcro strips. It seemed like I saw a variety of attachments, but I have used only one, the original fluffy feather one, and it has lasted, with very few feathers lost. I highly recommend this toy.

My cat was loving this toy in the store and just wouldn't leave it alone so being the pet parent that loves to spoil I bought it for her.
She will play with this in the mornings when she is all wound up and in the afternoon and evenings she likes to snuggle with it to take a nap. A few times my husband will have it to where the tail part of it is sticking out from under the table and she isn't sure what it is and goes in for the attack.

One of our kittens goes crazy over this toy! she lays down and chirps, then pounces on it. She will jump over anything to get to this! Our other baby is more interested in the black stick end than the other. She goes nuts! This wand has held up well overall a great toy!

Our BIG cat absolutely loves this toy! We had purchased several new toys at one time. He went upstairs, snagged this one and came running downstairs to show us and coax us to play some more. Great toy!

I bought this product two years ago for my Himalayan cat, and she immediately loved it! She never tired of it. When I waved it in front of her, she would grab a hold of it with her teeth and carry it around in her mouth meowing. I had to let go of the stick and let her take it. Now my new white Persian kitten plays with it. I think it's something to do with the fur and feathers and the movement of the material that attracts them. Plus, the tip is replaceable. I rate this toy a five!
