Pros: inecpensive Cons: harness hook broke, dog did not like
"I tried this first as a graduation from a safety travel harness so my little guy could see out as we drove. He did not like it at all. I don't know if he didn't feel secure or if there wasn't enough padding, but he was very adamant that it was not a pleasant experience. We went back to the travel harness for a couple of weeks before spending more to buy the Snoozer lookout car seat that he loves (and is comfortable enough that he sleeps in it). I really wanted the less expensive option to work, but no luck. Oh, and the hook for the harness broke after only a couple of long trips in the Outward Hound"

Pros: cheap in price, dog loves it!, keeps dog safe
"We have a miniature daschund who can't WAIT to get in the car and climb into her car seat!
I was concerned about car safety when we got her (airbag deployment, climbing around the driver, rolling off the seats) and was so excited to find this cost efficient seat. We had tried a small animal carrier for several days and no matter where we placed it in the car, she barked, screamed, cried and kicked. If she sat on someone's lap, quiet as a mouse. Once we got this booster seat, she was raised enough she could see the driver, any other passengers in the car AND out the window. Best of all.... SHE'S SAFE!
She did manage to chew through the nylon straps that hold the seat up, but after stitching them back together, I sprayed them with sour apple and she's never done it again.
Moxie is 9 pounds and she fits perfectly."

"Overall the car seat worked well. Then after several use the hook that attaches to the dog collar broke. I'm not able to use this product again due to the broken leash hook for my Yorkie."

"I have had this car seat for a number of years; I am now on my second Malt, both Mill rescues, using the same seat. It is, # 1 safe for small, skittish dogs: easy in, easy out (dog), easy on, easy off (car). I've used this for long (4.5 hour) trips and short-emergency trips to the vet. Both dogs that have used this have learned to 'look out the window' and/or 'curl up' in the carrier and snore. What more could I ask for? I can now watch the road knowing she is safe in the carrier. I FEEL MUCH BETTER traveling with this hooked up next to me. Add cushion or blankets to taste . . ."

"I bought this seat a couple of months ago for my 2 1/2 year old pekeapoo. At first, I wasn't sure if she would get too nervous in it, but she loves it. She loves being able to sit and look out the window as well as laying down and taking a nap.
She's very comfortable in it. My only recommendation would be to have more padding around the frame for them to rest their heads on."
