I purchased two of these feeders for a 100# Lab & a 70# Rottie pup. The height adjustment provides great flexibility not only because I can make the feeder higher as the pup gets bigger, but also because the higher setting takes the stress and strain off of the Lab's joints (who is injured right now).
The bowls are nicely sized and removable, which allows for easy cleaning. Also, because the bowls are in a stationary position within the feeder, the pup is unable to push the bowl around the floor as she eats.
I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend this feeder.

We have had our adjustable storage feeder for a number of years and two Labradors. Five of those years were on the road through 49 states and three Canadian provinces in our motor home! One bit of advice, though. Should you care to use a liter water bottle in the screw in space we have discovered that, for reasons unknown, only the A&W root beer bottle has the strength to last. Since we just replaced our bottle about 2 months ago for only the second time, this is still true. If on the road, you might consider emptying the water side!

I purchased the elevated dog bowl with storage holder- 2 wks ago - the elevated height is great for my golden retreiver. I really like the option of the water bottle attachment for additional water for when you are gone all day. The one change I made to the product is - the food storage container below cannot be accessed unless you lift the whole unit up and the water would spill. So I cut a hole where the food bowl is located and then you can just lift up the food bowl and get to the dog food easily - they need to make this unit with a hole already cut below the food bowl with a snap lid and then it would get 5 stars !! I also would find a way to have a water bowl that would also fit in with the water bottle option - because you cannot have a bowl in there now - this way it would be easier to take bowl out to clean instead of the whole unit:)

I think this bowl set is great.Easy to clean. I've put it in the dishwasher with no problem. I have 3 of them(2 different sizes) for a couple of years and they still look perfect. I foster dogs and just bought a 4th one.Being i never know what size dog i'll have this is perfect for any of them. I highly recomend this to anyone

I have owned/used two of these ... one at my parents house with our full grown Australian Shepherd and one with my six month old lab mix puppy. Bolth have served well thus far. The one for the Aussie has been at my parents house for several years and has held up well. The one for my lab puppy has solved a big problem we had with her at feeding time, which was playing with her water bowl ... Now that its up off the ground she no longer splashes in her water. Also the storage option is super convenient and the container has two heighths for more flexibility. My only complaint is that the top of the storage part can sometimes be ricky to get back on right. But other than that, this feeder is excellent!!!

My boyfriend has had this one for years for his dog and since I moved in I can't wait to replace it! Lol. Every review you read about how it gets dirty and gross is true. Water collects underneath the one bowl and grit in the other. I can't attest to the storage as we never used it, but yes, it always seemed completely impractical to me to remove the whole top part containing 2 bowls, one likely filled with water. Plus the bulky beige plastic is just plain ugly.
I'll be purchasing a diner stand with a wire rack that does not have to keep getting cleaned thank you.

I had this feeder for quite a long time and wouldn't recommend it!! There are always so many annoying things with it and it is a terrible design. Number one is where you can store the food underneath and put the cover on top. When you want to get the food, you can never get it quick. You are trying to put the cover back down fast, but it is getting stuck where it has the feature to be left at higher height. So now I don't even bother with storing food there anymore. Next, the darn metal bowls lock into a ridge they made in the plastic. You would not believe the filth that gathers in this ridge that was created there. I'm constantly taking something sharp like a screwdriver and digging that out to keep it clean after a build up. Plus, you always find water when you pick the bowl up out of the plastic opening it sits in. It will sweat in there somehow. I would purchase some kind of stand where the bowls are free standing with air all around it. Now you will also see in the picture where they have an opening that you can place a 2 liter plastic soda bottle in so it will flow for water while being away. Well, just imagine what happens in this hole. I never use this feature since I want it for the bowls. I always have dog food in it, or just filth and I have to dig it out of there too. It has tons of ridges to dig out of there there since this is for screwing the 2 liter bottle in.
I would really think twice on picking something else out. Plus, dog hair is always underneath this clunk of a thing. Seriously think about a nice wire free standing style set or something of that nature. That is what I will go for next. I might even shop for it now since I got myself all stirred up:)

Great for road trips - storing goodies in it. We don't store the food in it during home use. We will have been using this for 8 years in May 2012.
Pros: Large bowls, Sturdy Base, doesn't get knocked over by xl breed dog, Great for hiding extra leashes, toys, etc, especially during road trips
Cons: the water and food will drop into the plastic base, which will need to be wiped out regularly, and washed weekly. The water dish over years will cause some staining of plastic base opening, nothing major. Our dog is a very messy eater, so we put a rubber shoe mat under it with edges, that catches the dog food he spills onto the floor. For dogs that eat all their food, this isn't an issue at all.
Over all very pleased, almost 8 years and still like new

I have 3 Blue Nose Pit Bulls The mother and 2 puppies and I absolutely love this feeder. The puppies started eating out of the mothers bowls at a very young age and I found this very easy for them to eat out of. I just ordered 3 more. 1 new one for the mom who I might add is 3 yrs. old and has had the same one since she was a puppy, and 1 for each of the 6 mos. old puppies that have been teething and biting on it. The are very well made. As you might know pits are very strong dogs and it is still in very good condition after all these years. Since they are $15.00 now I figured I would buy (3) new ones... one for each of my babies!!!

We recently moved and don't have room to store large bags of dog food. When we saw this product, we thought it would be a great way to store our dog's food out of the way while allowing us to easily access his food.
When we got the product home and opened up the packaging, we were shocked that you had to completely remove the lid to scoop out his food. We had expected there to be a way to access his food without complete removing the lid, such as a hole underneath the food bowl. Having to remove the lid causes several issues:
- You can't use the full depth of the container to store food
- Water spills if the water bowl is full when you need to remove the lid to scoop food
- Using a 2 liter bottle as a gravity feed for water is impractical, because the bottle falls over when you remove the lid

Luckily, I received this as a gift. For those who weren't so lucky(unlucky?), do not buy this injection molded piece of trash unless you do not intend to store food in the bottom compartment. The top part is plastic...plastic warps after some time. Imagine trying to balance a bowl of food, a 2liter bottle, and a FULL water dish while trying to slide this ridiculous cover back on...now imagine how frustrating that is when the cover gets stuck EVERY SINGLE TIME. This last time, I managed to spill water into an almost full container of dog food, which I had to throw out. $30 worth of dog food (I get the good stuff) was wasted for the sake of "convenience." Not only am I dissatisfied with the product, but it's recent performance has made so irate I've decided to take it out and shoot it repeatedly with a shotgun.(Use 00, birdshot will ricochet) Another thing to keep in mind...dogs HUNT, and usually eat their food off the ground...after ripping it out of whatever prey its found. That being said, does you pooch really need a table? Bowls on the floor, or not, my 55lb pooch really doesn't seem to care, as long as there's food in it.

We have 2 bigger dogs (soon to get a third!) and we purchased one of these a while back (I'm talking quite a few years). I purchased this because we love to travel and go camping, but we don't always have room for the big, heavy bag of dog food( and because the other food/water bowls didn't survive after a few years). I bought this on a whim, not quite sure of it's quality (after all, it's pretty much just plastic!) and durability, but let me just say, this is the BEST product we bought yet! We bought a big one for our two, and take it with us on every trip. It does hold a decent amount; we use it to carry dog food. It is easily cleanable, and you can even remove the durably,hardy bowls if you need to. Our dogs love it, and I like how you can adjust the height on it. It is of excellent quality, and has stood up to many years of "wear and tear" damage and still seems in like new condition! This is definitely a super durable product! Plus, it is more then affordable! What a great price! I would totally buy this product again! If you are looking for something easy, convenient, washable, affordable and MORE all wrapped up into one, then I highly recommend this product. (*^_^*)

My dog and I absolutely love this product. He no longer has pain from bending down to eat and drink and I no longer have to retrieve his dishes from under the furniture.
I have had absolutely no problem with the top sliding down like so many have posted. The hooks are placed at different levels on the front and back of the upper part. If you place the top part on one way, it will slide all the way down to the lowest level but if you turn the top around (front to back), the lid will lock nicely into place.
The entire unit is very easy to keep clean. I wipe it down with a damp cloth every night including those few dribbles under the water bowl. I use mine to store dry food and have not had the spider problem I’ve read about (so far). I do not know if those experiencing the spider issues are using the feeder indoors or outdoors. Mine is in the kitchen.
I have not tried the self-watering feature but will probably give that a shot this summer. I would definitely recommend this product, especially to those with older animals with hip and joint problems. .
Pros: storage bin hold a full 18 pound bag of food, easy to clean, looks nice, keeps food and water dish stationary

My mum and i purchased this feeder 8 years ago for our golden retriever puppy. It was nice for a while because it did adjust with her height but getting it to adjust and stay put (not slide down) was quite a task. We used the stainless bowls that came with it and discovered quite quickly that water collected underneath the food and water bowls. As for the storage container underneath, i've never put food in it but have found that spiders love to hang out in there. She still has this feeder only because she doesn't deal well with changes involving her food and water area. Overall, i wouldn't recommend this feeder. The product design needs a few improvements.
Pros: sturdy, nice stainless steel bowls
Cons: difficult to keep clean, adjustable height doesn't adjust well

This product works great for my Malamute/Husky mix. I find removing the bowl and using the bottle setup for water works well. I use the lower storage to store toys.

I have 3 dogs of different sizes and each has their own set-up, 1 large and 2 medium. I have a mat under each. The height change options for the growing years is good and I love the stainless bowls. However, keeping the station clean is not the greatest. First, water collects UNDER the bowl into the holder itself (I have two messy drinkers) and gets stagnant if not cleaned daily. Second, DO NOT STORE ANY FOOD INSIDE THE COMPARTMENT as it is not bug-proof. I had sealed treat bags, and found evidence of bug droppings, so now I don't keep anything in there. Bugs love dog food, so I definitely wouldn't store it below. Also, since there is a slight elevation between the bowl holder and the floor, bugs like to hide under the entire set-up as well. We usually don't have bug problems in our home, but for some reason, this is the area that attracts them seasonally. I am going to replace my set-up with "open" holders and stainless bowls. Stainless is the only way to go (and I wash them every evening in the dishwasher), and I want a sanitary feeding area for my dogs, as well as no hiding places for any unwanted critters.
Pros: stays put on the floor, grows with the height changes of your dog, decorative, stainless bowls, will last the life of your pet
Cons: not bug-proof; don't store food in it, awkward to keep clean, harbors bacteria in stagnant water under bowl, must be cleaned entirely on a daily basis, bulky

This is great for my mini-english bulldog! Daffy loves it and when she licks around the bowl to get the food it doesnt slip! We store the food in the storage unit with a cup so when we feed her its not a hassle! We put cute little dog related stickers on it too! Great buy :]

Bought this for our 65 lb german shepherd mix. Works great as far as height, and keeping him from pushing the bowl around the floor.
However, it is awful to clean. Food, water, slober, all get sloshed around under the bowl, making frequent cleaning of the entire unit necessary. And cleaning the base is quite cumbersome given it's size.

My parents bought our Ourpets Store-N-Feed a little over 10 years ago for our lab mix, who passed away about a year ago, and it still is now used by our year and a half Treeing Walker Coonhound. We've never had an issue the stand or the bowls. We rarely use the storage compartment though do to the fact we buy the huge bags of dog food, but I could see it working for cans of dog food or treats. The fact that this has held up so long has quite impressed me and I plan on buying a second one here soon for my 9 week old Golden Retriever puppy.
