Both my dogs a Border Collie/Australian shepard mix and my Alaskan Malamute walk right through the chain link fabric even with the provided ties applied every 6-8 inches around the bottom. The tubing is ok but would benefit from an anchor screw through the joint to keep it together while installing the chain link fabric. THE CHAIN LINK FABRIC IS THE WEAKEST I'VE EVER SEEN !!!!! Without some type of solid base my dogs also dug out from under it until they discovered they could just bend the chain-link and walk through.

I read the reviews before I bought this, thinking I could fix the issues the others were having.
First, the materials are thin and lightweight. Once the kennel was together my husband and I could easily move it around. The frame has tapered ends that fit into round ends. They don't stay together so my husband put a set screw in each connection. That worked. Now...stringing the chain link. What a royal pain in the tush that was. It was so tangled. It took us about 1 1/2 hours just to straighten out the chain link. The wire ties used to secure the chain link to the frame are very cheap, we kept breaking those. You will need to get more of those ties because dogs can push their way through the bottom pretty easily so lots of extra ties at the bottom. The gate latch mechanism is garbage, we'll be figuring out something different for that. I'd say from start to finish is about 3+ hours. If you get this for small dogs, I think you'd be okay, if you do the extra ties at the bottom. My husband will be changing a couple of things to close up gaps at the gate. Once he's done that, we should be good to go. I'm not sure if I'd recommend this. We rent our house so we needed something we can take with us, and this we can. If you own your home, then I'd say invest in something beefier and better quality. When we move we've decided to toss the chain link and get a tighter woven livestock wire.

THIS KENNEL WAS HORRIBLE, WE ENDED UP HAVING TO GET A NEW KENNEL ONE MONTH AFTER ASSEMBLING THIS ONE.
IT TOOK FOR-EVER TO PUT TOGETHER & OUR HUSKIES WERE ABLE TO BREAK OUT FROM UNDER THE KENNEL BY UNBENDING THE FENCING.

Bought this last summer to use for my poms. Went together relatively easy, fencing was twisted and had to be put back together. After a year of use my poms finnally got out of the bottom but after tying up loose ends with the included ties it is great. Came back to buy another one only to find the price had 4X what I paid for it last summer. Not worth it.

Our dog managed to push away the chain link from the base and escape. The colums of links twist and loosen easily. Takes a long time and brute strength to assemble, stretching the chain link around the frame. The roof isn't adequate for snowy winters because it needs to be removed. Overall, disappointed...had to get another kind in the spring.

Don't waste your money on this Kennel. Fencing is so cheap that any dog can easily get out of it. We threw away the fencing.... it bends so easy.

If you think the price is too good to be true, it is because it is! I got this to put in my basement for my bulldogs. Thank goodness I did get it for indoors and not outdoors. I got home from work the first day we used it and both my puppy bulldog and adult bulldog met me at the basement door.
It is pretty easy to put together. The fencing is cheap and a waste of time to even bother putting up. My husband is going to get stronger fencing to put around it but shouldn't have to be this way.

I knew not to expect much for an $80 kennel but they fail to include that you need a drill along with the other tools. The instructions tell you to connect the different pieces but don't say a word about the fact that the holes are NOT predrilled. And as far as the fencing goes. Don't cut anything. We had exactly enough to go from one end to the other. You get what you pay for in this kennel.

After many purchases frm Petsmart both in-store and online, I was excited to find a great bargin on this kennel. The frame went together with ease and was very surdy. The problem came when it was time to install the fence. It was of VERY poor quality and literally useless. Now, instead of having to pay to return the item, I now have to spend extra money to buy new fencing to complete the kennel. Not such a great bargin anymore.

I found this boxed kennel a real value for the price. No problems putting it together at all. Assembles with a minimal amount of tools. Solid little kennel. Once I add a screen to the top of it --it will provide a great place for my little buddy to hang out while I am at work.

This product is hard to assemble. You have to drill your own holes to connect the frame. Then you have to stretch the fence around it and there is no room for error or any extra fencing. Instructions do not explain enough. This product is difficult to assemble and not very sturdy.

I was sorely disappointed with this product. After researching several sites on price and size of the kennel I chose this one from Petsmart. I have bought so much from Petsmart both online and in store that I was 100% sure this would be perfect. The box arrived damaged. So, the fence was damaged. Which means the dogs I'm trying to keep from my newest addition can get out of damaged kennel and attack my newest puppy. So I'm spending alot more time assembling it so to speak because I am having to continually fix the hole that was damaged in shipping
