"I just got this item and I really love it. It was SIMPLE to install, took less than a minute. I love the color, the fabric seems to be very durable (and washable). I like how his hair doesn't stick inside the fabric, it slides off, I DETEST having to spend hours trying to get dog hairs off of a seat cover, no need with this. My black lab seems to enjoy it, he doesn't slide all over which has happened in the past with other seat protectors.. I really like that you can use this in quite a few different configurations. It stays in place, which has been a fault in my past seat cover adventures. I also enjoy the little holders for items, water bottle etc. In my opinion, this is well worth the money and I would recommend it."

"I have a Lincoln LS and didn't realize until I received this that the head rests in the back seat are molded into the back seat. Therefore no way to hook the strap over it. Unless I can figure a different way to hold this up I will have to return it. My advice is check your rear seat head rests and make sure you can hook it over them before you order."

"I bought this product for my 80 lb. Weimaraner "Hank" who loves to go for a ride. I drive a 2006 Chevy Colorado Crew Cab and this product fit and looked like it was made for my truck and Hank loves it. He immediately laid down and rested his head between the seats without trying to jump up front with me and the wife. I no longer worry about him falling into the floor when I stop or make a turn. Great buy and saves a lot of wear and tear on cloth seats! Next purchase will be the bucket seat cover, for when its just the two of us."

"Over the holiday season, we had to take a 16 hour trip with our two dogs (80 pound Labrador/Pit Bull and 65 pound American Bulldog mix).
The hammock was really easy to set up. The dogs were able to walk around in our SUV with the hammock to get comfortable. When they walked around, the hammock did great! The hammock is set up in such a way that it prevents the dogs from trying to get up front with us and prevents them from getting in the trunk area.
I just put it in the washer (after 40+ hours in the car, the hammock was a little stinky from the dogs) and it washed perfectly!
We are very happy that we bought this product. It was able to hold up our dogs, protect our leather interior, and allowed us to store more stuff underneath the hammock area."

"We purchased this for our 45 pound boxer/terrier mix. She absolutely loves it. The main reason we wanted it was to keep her paws off of the leather seat. This works perfectly for most of the back seat, but she obviously spends most of her time at the windows on either side, and the hammock shifts down to expose the ends of the seats... resulting in her paws standing directly on the leather as she stares out the window. If there was some way to affix the hammock to the sides of the seats, it would be perfect. I see no obvious solution for this though, so I think they've done their best with this product.
Side note: The zipper isn't a problem at all for us b/c it has a clip now that holds the zipper up. This may be a new addition."

"I purchased this to keep my dog from getting into the front seat and to protect him from falling onto the floor; it has exceeded my expectations. My dog seems to like it and definitely makes use of the extra space. It also makes it easier to accommodate two dogs in the back seat. I usually unzip it a little so he gets more cool air and can poke his head up front. As a bonus, it keeps my car much cleaner. It is extremely easy to put up and down."

"We bought this hammock when we got our new Ford Escape. I wanted something that would keep the pet hair off the seat and would keep our 2 55 and 65 lb dogs in the back. The hammock doesn't fit in our car exactly like it is supposed to (I think that the backs of the seat are too tall), but it does keep the hair off the seats. I love that it is waterproof- I don't have to worry about it getting damaged from muddy paws. I still need to do a quick vaccumm after they ride, but the amount of hair that's on the seats is nothing compared to what would be there without the hammock. The hammock doesn't really prevent the dogs from jumping into the front when no one is there, but that may be because the center console of the Escape acts like a step for them. I say this because even a Yorkie was able to get from the back into the passenger seat when this hammock was being used. I also put a blanket in the hammock with them to give the dogs some traction so they're not slipping around.
I LOVE that it is washable. I've had no problems at all with the zipper and hook . Overall, this product works pretty well. It is definitely easier than trying to keep a sheet on the seats and works a whole lot better too! I would definitely recommend this hammock to a friend!"

"I purchased this product about a year ago and am still more than satisfied with its performance. I have a RotLab mix about 70lbs and since I've had this product it has keep my back seat stain free. An added benefit was when my boyfriend asked me to pick up supplies on my way home so he could change his oil. I forgot about the oil in my car and luckily I had my hammock in the back. The oil spilled onto the hammock and stopped it from damaging my seats. I'm sure, had I left it there all day it would have been a different story, but the fact that it stopped the oil was impressive. It's also dryer saff which was a huge selling point for me."

"I bought this hammock to protect my Jeep from puppy destruction. I have a 1 yr old CRAZY German Shepherd / Mastiff who loves car rides and getting dirty. The fabric is very durable canvas (cannot be torn or chewed through and protects the seat from "mudpaw"). The middle zipper is almost pointless though because it always falls down. I wouldn't buy this for the purpose of keeping the dog in the backseat - mine just steps over it. Also, it doesn't go all the way to the top on the backseat so hair still gets on the seat underneath. On the plus side, he seems to appreciate NOT being thrown on to the floor when I brake hard (as would happen when you only have a bench seat cover). Overall, I would purchase this product again. It is reasonably priced, super easy to put in and take out when you don't want it in, and can be used in multiple configurations."

"I got the pleasure of using the travel hammock for my car sick Golden Retriever today when we woke up and found that she'd impaled her toe with a rusty nail. ugh So the trip to the vets office this morning was a clean one for my poor car thanks to the travel hammock! It kept her from jumping into the front seat, and kept her long blonde hair from sticking to my black cloth seats. For those of you who own a PT cruiser convertible, please note this will not be a perfect fit as there are no headrests in the back seat. However, just behind the little "bumps" that serve as headrests in the back seat is a black plastic ridge running the length of the seat. I stuck the male end of the latch through the plastic ridge hole, and snapped the female end over it by sliding it through the black plastic ridge. Check it out, you'll see what I'm talking about. I highly recommend this product!"

"Love this product! I had to take in some of the material so that it wouldn't gap, but other than that, it's great. Our doggy no longer falls in between the seats and I feel much safer taking him places. Easy to clean and would highly recommend."

"I purchased this product about a month ago. Almost right away my dog figured out that he could unzip the middle. After a few days of him chewing it it broke. It says "machine washable" but when I washed it the waterproof backing cracked and fell apart. Petsmart did allow me to return it without packaging because I kept the receipt. So, If you do decided to give it a try be sure to keep your receipt and the box."

"The hammock was easy to install and comfortable for my dog. However, it didn't help to keep my Lab mix puppy in the back seat. The zipper wouldn't stay up, even when fastened, and my dog chewed the straps and broke the zipper within a week or two. I'd guess this product would be fine for a calm dog."

"I absolutely love this hammock! We've had it almost a year and it's def. been worth the money! I have three dogs, a 95 pound boxer, a 70 pound boxer, and a 45 pound boxer...I can leave this in a hammock style when I don't have all three of them with me, or I can lay my seats down, attach it to the hooks at the back of my SUV, and have room for all three while still keeping the hair off ot it! All you have to do is pull it out and shake it off and its good...I love this thing, I would buy it again and again and again! I keep reading reviews about the clips breaking but my big boxer lays right inbetween the back seat and front seat and they've been fine with me."

"I bought this to take my dog (70 lbs) on his first long road trip. It was easy to install in the backseat of my SUV. It did slide slightly on the leather seats but once my dog was in it, it didn't really move much. My dog loved that he could lay into the hammock and the zipper in the middle worked well for me. I put it about 1/2 way down so my dog could lay with his head in the middle and it didn't move. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it."

"I bought this for my muddy golden to help keep the back of my car clean. It works great at keeping mud off of the back seats and the tuck in pockets work great at keeping the hammock in place. I also like the water bottle and deep pockets and I really like the new zipper lock fastener (this is my second one of these---got an older one years ago) that keep the zipper in the upright position when needed."

"This product is okay. Out of the other options that I have seen out there it is one of the better options. I have a problem with it because it shifts and moves. It doesn't quite stay in its place. The front starps fit fine but the ones that go on the back seat fall off with the weight of my dog and he is about a 20lb. dog! Also heat and sun have really altered the fit- furthermore when you have the back windows open in the car the wind blows it off the seats! I am glad that I have it just because it keeps the dog hair and mess off my brand new leather seats, but I just think that there are several flaws with the product."

"I purchased the hammock to keep my 70lb shepherd in the back seat--and keep his hair out of the front seat and dash board. After the first day the zipper showed to be useless--kept unzipping under the pressure of my dog. His hair didnt stick to the seat cover at all-maybe a good thing to some people--but it ment his hair was flying all over the car and sticking to everything but the cover. might work great for a smaller dog, or someone who doesnt care about the dog hair."

"I bought this for my 80lb retriever who didn't like riding in cars since he always fell on the floor when I braked my car. Now with the hammock he doesn't fall and so is happy to come for rides.
The hammock is great - I love the zipper (with the locking snap hook fastener--others must not see this but it is included) that lets you have one side up and other down. Also, the pouches are large enough to hold toys, bowls, tennis balls, etc and it can be machine washed AND dried
All in all this is the best hammock out there"
