My rabbit will not eat this stuff. It is poor quality hay and the Kaytee company needs to find another way to process and package this hay. Please try to get better hay sent to the St. Louis area.

My Piggies Love It!!!!!!

One of my piggies Axle LOVES it he could eat this as his daily food and my other piggie Motor also loves it but not as much as Axle. But i would say the quality is amazing the entire bag was green and that is why i bought it besides the fact that i thought my piggies would like it and they do!!!! ;)

Not consistent quality in hay

Maybe it's S.Fl., but the quality of hay really varies from fresh to very bad. On several occasions I've had to return hay because my chin won't eat it....
Can you please stock S. Fl. stores with fresh hay on a consistent basis?
(I look at the hay they use in the store for the small animals and it's so good; asked if I could buy some of it, but not sold to public - it's the kind of hay that should be sold!!!!)
Gonna have to switch products/store to get better product.

My rabbit loves this hay & starts jumping around when he sees me pull the bag out of the closet. Always seems fresh. My only complaint is the cut is rather long. It would be better if it were in shorter cuts.

I have used Kaytee Timothy Hay for my rabbit. Not only is it nutritious and vital for a rabbits health but she loves it. As soon as I grab the bag and start to open it, she comes. She can't wait for me to put some down for her. I highly recommend it.

My guinea pig ted loves this stuff!!!! i give him like 5 handfulls and he eats it in like 1 day!!! but.... my chinese dwarf hamster Piper doesnt LOVE it she eats it once and a while but not a lot........... but i have a syrian hamster named Dahlia and she loves it sooo much........... i guess it all depends on the type of animal you get and the likes and dislikes

It is too sad when Petsmart sells pets that they should carry a continous supply of food they sell regularly for their customers. Replenishment should be continous and NOT take 6 weeks to be replaced! Dont replace it with something new because Piggies dont like change. Piggies love Kaytee Brand Hay and like it fresh

After i finish cleaning the cage, i put hay as the last bedding. Instead of my guinea pig eating her pellets, she goes right to the hay! I recommend it.

i have a hamster, 4 gerbils, and 2 guinea pigs....they all LOVE this product! every time fresh hay goes into their cages (every day of course!) they just about dance around.... the guinea pigs start to do their purring sounds and will not leave the pile for a while...they will even sleep on it they love it so much. my gerbils eat it, nest in it, and play in it all day. i have one who tries to take a dust bath in the small clippings after it is all been chewed up. even my hamster (who is anti social despite all our holding efforts) comes out to beg for hay when he smells it is near (as my gerbil cage is his neighbor) i recommend this to everyone who has small animals. it smells great, has great color, and seems to be a show stopper with all my lovelies. honestly i don't think the price is to much. i think of it like the other cheaper stuff is a tv dinner...this stuff is like going to have a steak..... you get full quality in this package. and it is packed very well. not to dusty and good pieces.

Bought this the other day, and it is awful. It is all dried out, and really tough to get out of the bag. Today I was trying to refill my GPs hay manger and i found a large rock in the bag... Easy way to save money if sold by weight on their part? I'm not sure... just avoid it unless your GPs like non nutritious straw.

My rabbit loves this hay no doubt about that! Also PetSmart has one of the best prices around compared to my local pet stores however, when you buy the min 24oz. for 5 dollars that's comes to about .5 cents an oz. but when you buy the max 96 oz. for 17 dollars that's about .6 cents an oz. why is that? More packaging? I know it's only the matter of cent but, in my view it should be the more you buy the more you should save. Especially if you're paying for shipping which is by weight. I would rather stock up on the smaller size available at my store then order this in bulk online.

My guinea pigs and my rabbit love this hay, and occasionally I give it to my hamster as a treat. They all DEVOUR it, but if you keep it for more than a week, even with the top closed, gets brown and dusty! I really think I am going to try Oxbow hay, for my rabbit and my guineas to sleep on and chew.

This hay had bits that my chinchilla did not like and I did not want to waste money so I switched to Oxbow and she ate everything. I dont want to freak anybody out but I bought a bag of this hay and it had a squished lady bug on a piece of hay so I threw away the whole bag for the sake of my chinchillas safety and from that day on I swiched to Oxbow. I would buy this hay for a diferent animal and look at it closely before feeding it to your pet. This hay was also rather dusty which I did not like but it smelt like normal timothy hay which was good and this was cheap so thats anothor reason why I bought this. BUT just in case im wrong and my chinchilla is pickey you can still get this for chinchillas but I still HIGLY recommend Oxbow over this hay.

My rabbit loves this hay because it is so fresh when we get it. Some of the other brands are dusty and nasty looking. I will always use kaytee timothy hay. It is a little more expensive than some others but the quality makes up for it.
