i orginally got this for my dwarf hamsters, they loved it! Im sure it was fun popping their little heads in and out of the top opening too. They liked it so much, that i decided to get the white mice one too, since mice are very curious critters. They loved it even more! My other regular hammy Cinnamon was too big to play with this, but it's ideal for dwarf hamsters and mice! Did i mention its also a cool, healthy chew toy that will probably last a while for dwarf hams and mice.

I bought this for my gerbils and mice and rats and I found that the gerbil liked it the most compared to the other two, but then again, gerbils chew EVERYTHING.
def. would recommend if you have gerbils.

Our bunnies go crazy over these! Whenever we see them at petsmart, we buy as many as they have! Our 4 bunnies will chew them all the way in a matter of days!

The boys fell in love with this the minute i put them in their cage when i first brought them home! They love to run through it and eat it! You should purchase this product it's good for constantly growing teeth and amusement. However, i do see urine stains on it. Otherwise this is a great product!

I have two guinea pigs, one is a year old and one is a year and a half. They have had this since I first got my oldest. They love to run through it (an excellent addition to the chew toy is that it is also a piece of exercise equipment) and they are so cute when they chew it.

They finally chewed the one side totally away. Now the other side was hanging by a tiny piece- it finally broke off today. I'm only on the website to make sure they are in stock. They can't be without their chew log!

They were both just at the vet and I was told their teeth look perfect - I have to say it is all because of this wonderful product!

If you have guinea pigs, do not hesitate to purchase it! You won't be disappointed!

My rats Reggie and Ralph love it! It is all edible which is a plus! My boys keep poking their head out of the top and have to share it. I had to get the large one and they love it! They haven't figured out that they can chew it but they will. Reggie and Ralph are really cute together!

PROS: edible, large enough for two rats, has a hole in the top

CONS: none!

I used this for both my mice and Syrian hamsters. They had great fun hiding in it. However, as a previous reviewer mentioned, it's not exactly a nutritious snack. That being said, rodents will often chew on this instead of the bars on the cage -- a welcome relief.

My mouse loves this log! she eats is all the time and will hide in it and burrow under it. I love this because it will keep her teeth filed down for a LONG TIME and i don't have to buy little chewes every week that she does not even like. i have had it for a while and she still loves it and it is not perishable. Just put this in my guinea pig's cage and he loves it!! At first he wasn't sure because he was used to the plastic dome that was in there but he definitely loves this. A great buy for sure!!

My rats absolutely love this. I got them two sized of this. I have the large one sideways in their cage (where the small hole is on the side the large holes are on the top and bottom) and sometimes they sleep in it. They will climb on and in this thing for hours, it's funny watching them. They nibble on it sometimes, more than they do than any other of their 'furniture' (they don't gnaw on the wood stuff at all).

Don't get it wet though - it gets gross.
