This food and brand is wonderful. I am a first time bird parent so I'm glad to know my finches eat this. I just got my bird today (3/9/13) so it's a good thing my two female finches are eating. Do not be scared if your finch is not eating at first. It is just getting used to its new environment. Try offering food by your finger once in a while if your bird is not eating, eventually they will figure out where the food is located so it will eat on its own. Also keep your birds water clean. A great rule of thumb is to think if you would eat the food and water yourself. If you wouldn't your bird wouldn't either.

My parakeet, Sundai, loves this food! His food dish used to be his favorite place to be! Haha! He seems to eat most of it, but I feel like there could be some improvement in the various food besides seed. The bag is a good size and it lasts awhile. Like I said, Sundai loves it, and he's actually eating it right now! :)

my two parakeets love this food they do make a mess all the time but they almost finish the entire bowl, of course they leave some grains and pellets, but good choice, also good value.

I give this to my birds for there main diet. THEY LOVE IT!!!! I gave it a our for nutrition cause there are no pellets. I would appretiate if there were a variety of seeds and pellets for longitivity...... but otherwise, great food

I got my 2 parakeets about a month ago and I got this food b/c it's what they fed the birds at the store. It's great and they love it! It keeps their feathers straight and shiney! I also give them the Nutriphase millets and they love that too! For the money, I would recomend the 5 lbs. b/c its only a few $ more, it'll last longer, and your 'keets will love this stuff!
