My betta had become very sick; he would not eat or swim around. I did a lot of research trying to figure out what was wrong with him and came to the conclusion that he had a bacterial infection. I bought another medication first but it seemed to make him worse. He ended up with popeye in the process. I used this as directed and he is better. His eye has went back to normal and he is eating and swimming. If you have a sick fish, buy this product. It really does work wonders.

After multiple rounds of other antibiotics, this one has done the trick! Popeye and swim bladder infection have been cleared up in 3 treatments (one bottle will treat 55 gallons fully 3 times, which is an entire round). While the water is cloudy, the condition of the water is great (I also used PRIME available at Petsmart) to keep the water quality high. I've been fighting swim bladder infection with this fish for years, this finally cleared that up. If I could give the product 10 stars I would.. cheap, fast, safe, effective. Carry it on the store shelves folks!!!

If any medication could be called a "miracle worker" - this would be it. I purchased this product locally and have since ordered three more bottles (one to share with my son). Maracyn Plus has worked to help heal every situation for which I have tried it. No medication will heal/cure everything. If your fish is still eating, then it is well worth the expense to try this medication. I used this for one fish (a Leporinus) and as a bonus, one of my long finned rosy barbs fins healed, too. Wounds do heal more quickly and infection does not set in. PetSmart should offer it in their stores (I asked for it my last visit).

Pros: works great, price, easy to administer

I have used this twice and it works great.My geophagus &silver dollars had cloudy eyes& their tails were ragged looking within 2 days they looked better,no cloudy eyes.Would recommend to anyone if their fish start with cloudy eyes& ragged tails.
