I bought this wheel for my hamster. I found that it is a bit larger than other wheels so it is more comfortable for hamsters to run on and she was not having to arch her body to run properly. It is very quiet and after 2 years of having this product, with regular use it is still good as new. I would definatly recommend this product to anybody needing a wheel or something fun for their small animals to play on.

I completely LOVE this product! see, my gerbil stays in my bedroom, and when I had a defferent wheel it was like living at a saw mill that never quit sawing! I fond this wheel "after many restless nights" and thought I'd give it a try... it's soooo silent! It's amazing how quiet they can make it! My gerbil likes it better then the ones that made so much noise too! And uses it more often also! You can even attach it to the bars of the cage if you want to " like I did" and WOW it's just soooo silent! And my gerbil loves it too! I so recommend this product to all small pet owners!

I bought the 4 1/12 to replace the wheel that my cage came with... What a difference!
I'm no longer being woken up from the sound of my winter white hamster running on his wheel! Perfect!

It was worth the money considering I can actually get some sleep now... Very nice.
No problems/regrets whatsoever.

I bought the 4.5 inch for my small robo and she loves it! It makes almost no sound! What I like about this wheel is that you can take it off of it's stand if you have a wire cage. For any dwarf hamsters (except for robos) you should get the 6.5 size.

I purchased this wheel for my first Syrian hamster and attached it to the bars of the cage. It made absolutely no noise and I was thrilled with it. It worked until he was about 6 months old, at which point he grew out of it and I bought him a Silent Spinner rat wheel (12").
Now I have 2 Chinese dwarf hamsters, and because of their cage setup I have to put their wheels (one for each hammie) on the stands. It is SO much louder. The metal stand rattles against the plastic wheel attacher and even with a heavy fan I can hardly sleep (the cage is in my bedroom).
The gist of all this is a) attach it to the bars of the cage, don't use the stand! and b) Syrian hammies quickly grow out of this, so spend your money on a rat wheel in the first place.

My hammie's habitat is in my room so I wanted a nice, silent wheel. Silent Spinners are SO quiet AND my hammie loves to run on it! The only con is it is a little on the expensive side for a wheel but its very worth it if you want some sleep and a good hamster wheel.

I love the fact that you can either attach it to any wire cage or just let it stand on the floor. It doesn't make squeaky sounds or anything like that. I just bought it and my Syrian hamster won't get off of it. He absolutely loves it.

I had to bury it in bedding so it wouldn't tip over, but other than that it is amazing! I can finally sleep with my girls able to run on the wheel!! If you have a noisy pet that runs in the night, this is what you need! And especially since it and enclosed surface!,they can't get their tails caught! I would highly recommend this to ANYONE. plus it attaches to the side of a cage if you need it to! I prefer it standing though. Since my girls burrow in the tank, sometimes the bedding under it gets swept away, so I have to fix it, but other than that, BUT IT. also on YouTube, one girl secured the wheel bottom to the tank lid, which prevented the wheel form going anywhere!

I recently purchased the 6 1/2 inch Silent Spinner Wheel for my Robo Dwarf hamster and I LOVE it! I keep my hamster in my room so I needed a wheel that was quiet. I purchased a cage which came with a wheel, but that wheel was too loud. The wheel itself was silent, however, it attached to the side of the cage and shook A LOT when my hamster ran on it. This shaking made a terrible sound and I had to move my hamster into a different room at night :( This wheel was the best thing I ever bought for my hamster. Not only is it completely silent, but my hamster loves it and it does not attach to the cage. You can take the stand off and attach it to a cage if you prefer that though. I can now sleep peacefully without having to take my hamster's wheel away or move him to another room!

These wheels are amazing! They're quiet, durable, and easy and quick to clean! I have 2 mini, 2 regular, and a large. (Not using all at the same time currently, just one mini). They are crazy silent and cleaning is just a squirt of Clean Cage and a quick wipe down. The only times I've had to replace them is when I break them myself from trying to do something silly like pulling it through a cage door it won't fit through. I'd definitely recommend these to EVERY rodent owner! Price is totally worth it when you NEVER have to grease it or replace it!

I didn't actually expect this wheel to be silent but it is!!! After putting up with countless noisy wheels going on and on at night I didn't expect such a great product. What makes it even better is that it comes with a stand, but can also be attached to any wire cage which leaves extra floor space for my hamster to run around or sleep. I'm so glad the wheel I got with my cage didn't work or I would have never got this. Buy it if you can't sleep while your pets going at it!

I bought this wheel to replace the one that came with my cage. This wheel is really quiet. The only problem i have with this wheel is the size. I bought the small one for my pet mice and its not really big enough for them. I also enjoy how easy this wheel is to clean. The price is a bit too high though.

I bought two of these wheels. Both are 6.5". I'd like to mention that I went to two different stores to pick them up because one of the wheels at the first store did not spin as evenly and was a bit noiser than the other wheel. So make sure you check all the wheels when you are buying one to make sure you get the most quietest one available and if when it spins it appears slightly out of balance then skip it and seek out a different one from another store. We have 2 teddy bear hamsters and the wheels that came with the cages (Super Pet Critter Trail Two) are a bit small for the teddy bear hamsters. I had hoped this 6.5" wheel would be able to attach to the back of their cages but the clip that fastens to the cage is larger and caused the metal cage to pry open and create a gap (not a huge gap, but enough that I didn't want to leave it attached to the cage). I'm afraid if I left it there the cage would be bent in that area permanently. So I am now using the white stand that the wheels came on instead of mounting it to the cage. (A side note- I had to take out one of the two shelves in the cage to allow for enough room for the wheel to spin freely and not be right up between the two levels in the cage.) This new wheel allowed for more running space and the hamsters backs do not touch the center point of the wheel as it did on the wheel that came with the cage. Also the hamsters are running much faster than they were previously so yes, I think the bearings on these new wheels are significantly better and both wheels are very quiet as previous reviewers mentioned. When I put the wheel on the floor (touching the plastic base of the cage, there was some noise when the hamster was running fast. I pulled it up and have a bit of bedding between the wheel and the floor and the noise has gone away.

Not only does her hamster love it, we love to watch the hamster use it. Also, because my daughter's hamster likes to run at night, this spinner doesn't wake her up.

I got the 6 1/2 inch Silent Spinner for my dwarf hamster and he really enjoys it. He loves to run on it and its very easy for me to clean when he pees on it. (I wouldn't suggest this wheel for a Syrian hamster because a Syrian needs at least an 8'' wheel.) Sometimes the back of the wheel kind of gets loose, which is bothersome but you just have to tighten the wheel. But overall, this wheel really makes no noise and I'm satisfied with it.
