My robo never chews on this. But I gave it 2 stars because my hamster seems to only like to gnaw on fingers and his hay hut. Also it seemed to work out for others according to the reviews.

i got these for my syrian hamster. he didn't like the colored ones so i asked the specialist at PETSMART and she told me he might like these cuz they have more of a taste so i gave them a try and he devowered these
but he went through these too fast so i went back to get more and i counted and there where only 10
they are cheap but that could be bad... they arn't very good ingredients so yes

My dwarf ham loves to chew on wood, and these are no exception. They work on my treat-k-bob so that's nice! He doesn't chew on them 24/7 but occasionally he does, and you can't beat these for the price! I will buy again!

Nala loves anything dealing with apples and this by far is the BEST THING EVER!!! She only chews the bark off but its still AWESOME!!! I recommend this for EVERYBODY with chinchillas!!!!

They Were Wonderful Once Upon a Time

My two chinchillas absolutely love Apple wood sticks! The Peach not so much...
Anyway, Back when I first started buying this product (about 5 years ago) the sticks had a lot of "meat" to them. They were the size of real hearty branches that had been cut down to size.
However over time that's changed. Now the branches are very skinny and for any chinchilla owner you know that's no good.
My chinchillas can tear through and entire box in a week because the sticks don't last long.
They still love them so until I find an alternative I'll keep buying, I just wish they hadn't gotten so skinny! And considering in the store it's 4 dollars for a box, the price has definitely gone up for a product quality that's gone down.

These Apple Orchard Sticks came in a hamster starter kit that I bought. My hamsters only took a few nibbles, and that was all. I do have to say that the Apple Orchard Sticks were fresh and they smelled wonderful. RIP Gizmo and Donut

I bought these a while back and twisty tied them to my rats' cage. They were sometimes interested, but only occasionally. One day, I bought a kabob and now one of my rats chews these like crazy. She loves it. She sometimes eats the wood though. Not sure if this is bad, but she never seems to get sick from it. The other rat could care less about chewing these or any other toy. At least one of them stays entertained.

My hamster and two rats love the Super Pet Apple Orchard Sticks and chew on them all the time. They are a little more expensive than the generic brand but they love them more. My hamster is very picky and these are the only sticks he chews on while my rats eat off all the bark then toss the sticks around. I recommend these to any finicky or choosy pets who don't like other chews.

My rats weren't interested in these at all, but it may just be a preference thing. My co-worker was the one that suggested them as his rats absolutely loved these.

I got my rats these sticks because with regular sticks, they don't chew and I needed them to have something to chew on quite often for their teeth. It's been one day and they keep chewing.
My hamster, Jigglypuff, isn't that interested, but she's usually just sleeping anyways! I really recommend this for rats. Stormy and Sunny recommend this too :]

These sticks are a great way to keep their teeth healthy and trimmed down, which continue to grow throughout a guinea pig's life.
I can't say my guinea pigs loved them, but they certainly helped keep their teeth cut down and saved my a vet's bill for teeth clipping!

My chinchilla loves this the most out of all the chew toys I've ever purchased her. I will put a couple in her cage and she'll have all the bark shredded by the day's end. Definitely keeps her out of trouble. :)

My chinchilla *loves* these apple wood sticks more than anything (except maybe the Extreme Fruit & Nut Treats). I am so glad that PetSmart carries this product online - for a while our local pet shop had them, then couldn't hold the inventory so our little guy went without for a long time. ;(

Thanks, PetSmart, for carrying this great product, and at such a great price!
