It is a great hideout for hermit crabs. They just love it! It doesn't fit my tank style but if I was doing a cold look I would definitely use this item.

I got one of these without the castle ridge on top so it looks like an igloo. I was looking for a very small hiding place for my betta that was smooth and big enough inside for him, he's a pretty beefy fish. My boyfriend showed this to me and it is perfect, once I put a weighted plant on top to keep it from floating.

My Hermies love to go under it also they love bury them selfs under it while providing great shelter from my mister bottle so they don't get wet I recommend this to every hermit crab lover!!!!!

I bought this a while ago for my hermit crabs! They loved it! Sadly, there time came and they died, but now i use it for my baby bull frog! she loves it too.

I bought this for my "Little Crab Shack" (I use it as a vacation cage) After I bought my Crab Shack I noticed that it didnt have a shelter or any thing for them to hid in. So I went back in the store and bought this. It fit nicely in the cage and my crabs love it. IT would be great in a community cage too. The castle is of good size for any cage and it looks great in any cage. I would highly recommend this.

I have All Living Things Hermit Crab Starter Kit and it can't even fit without the cage looking all squished! So I gave it to my hamster. It fits his cage pretty well actually. I would just ignore the part about me giving it to the hamster. Hope I helped. Which I probably didn't. Bye.

I was looking in PetSmart for a hut and the other ones i saw were really small and would not fit. So i got this one and it's great! My hermit crabs like to sleep in there and drag the treats under there also! I would definitely buy this!

I got this for my hamster because they were out of the clear ones that they make for hamsters. I love it because it makes them feel secure when they hide because its dark. easy to clean too.
