I would highly recommend this to anybody!
It's lasted two hamsters and both absoloutley love it!
I haven't had any problems with it at all! The money is well worth it! My little Peanut is happiest when she is rolling around in her favorite ball!

When I first got my robo hamster, I bought her one of these balls. She loved it and she couldn't escape. After about nine months of using it, I dropped it (without my robo in it) and it cracked. Then I bought her another ball (that was exactly the same) and when she was running around, the top fell off and she escaped. So basically some work and some don't.

we bought a couple of finches at Petsmart and the staff suggested using one if these instead of a wicker nest in the cage, so we tried it and the birds were very happy and it was easy to clean so we got a second ball (use without the removeable door)

my hamster Rocky loves his ball while i am doing something he can roll around in his ball while i am doing it but sometimes it hard to get the uses the bathroom out of it thats the only downside but he loves his and once i put my panther gecko Kai in it he didn't move but it would be cool if they made one for lizards

I love this.My hamster Rocky loves it because he can see what the whole house is like.He feels like he is free.I also like that it came with those free chews.I am training him up for the hamster ball derby coming up in a few months.The exact date is April 2nd 2:00 2013.My little Rocky loves this product.He loves the chews also. This product is decent. I got it for my dwarf hamster Willow, thinking it would be good to have.
Personally, my hamster doesn't like this ball. She always scratches at the door, trying to find a way out, rather than running around.
If the animal urinates in the ball and runs in it afterwards, the urine comes out of the air holes and goes everywhere. That has made a mess too many times.
If my hamster scratches enough at the door, it becomes unlatched very easily. This product needs a better latch to prevent escapes.

Cons: easily destroyed, stains

My hamster absolutely loves this ball! Since day one, she's adored it! Gumdrop will occasionally use the bathroom inside of it though as she runs and it makes the ball, my carpet, and her fur messy. The ball is green and ends up stained from her urinating inside of it. Other than this, I recommend it for ANY pet owner! Make sure you keep an eye on it when the pet is inside though; no stairs and make sure the lid is completely secure before you let it go!

I have two female dwarf hammies, Gypsy and Nocturne. They both run over to me when I bring out the hammy ball, and they just get so excited! Last night, though, when Nocturne was in her ball, the top fell off. Twice. But it was just cause I was stupid and had the top on wrong! THIS BALL ROCKS!

I put my hamster Loki in the ball while I was cleaning his cage, I realized I didn't hear his balling rolling around anymore so I turned around and he was gone, he had run behind the fridge and I managed to get him out by having him climb into a wrapping paper tube. The lid on it isn't very tight so I can't say I was shocked it came undone. Moral of the story his name matched what happened because the top fell off.

I had my hamster in this for not long and it escaped. it managed to push open the lock. i have to use duck tape or some kind of tape just to use it. its not worth it.

I have a roborvoski dwarf hamster and I have this ball for it, and it's ok but I don't think you should buy a colored one (it's orange) because my hamsters dandruff get on the ball everywhere and it's REALLY dirty.But the product itself is awesome!

I bought this because a gerbil book suggested that I got one for out of cage running. I like everything about it except mine cracked. I havent gotten another ball, so I dont know if its a bad product or bad luck. I'm assuming bad luck I do really like this thing.

I got one for my two Chinese Dwarf Hamsters, and they love it! The only thing is that they only walk around if they aren't in at the same time. Also, this is easier to lose than you think. Anyways, I'm going to get two more so that they can both get exercise and be able to roam around the room at the same time. Great product, I would recommend it to any small pet owner.
