my guinea pig would always flip his food bowl over no matter what. we got this bowl for him for christmas and it was a miracle worker for the first few weeks. eventually the plastic things that hook onto the side of the cage broke so we had to just set it in the cage. this seemed like a sturdy bowl and i was disappointed when it broke. we have found better bowls though.

My prairie dogs, Gadget and Gizmo, love this product. It's easy to clean and it hasn't gotten chewed up! Sometimes it spills, but my doggies are messy. The only reason that I rated it 4 stars is that sometimes when the girls play tag, they bump into it and it falls down. No big deal! It holds just the right amount of hay in it!
Pros: easy to clean, durable

We`ve been using this bowl for more than 6 month and it still looks great. It not not that hard to put on the cage. It falls down sometimes when I clean the cage, but it is not a big issue. It is just right size for my bunny, easy to use for him and me, too and it cerainly safe the space, I just like the corner accessories.
Pros: space saving, easy to use
Cons: mounting system

This product really works but my piggie kept leaning to hard on his bowl so it broke. Good product though, would recommend this product to female, light weight piggies.
Pros: great, stops food waste
Cons: broke

I bought this for my dwarf rabbit. It is kinda hard to assemble, and falls down every time i change the cage. After a while, I just give up and let it sit in the corner rather than hanging it up. I use it as a veggie bowl now, so I don't mind much if it tips off, which rarely happens though. I would recommend a ceramic bowl over this.
Cons: hard to assemble, falls down easily

I bought the hang and lock corner crock because i had heard that hay should be kept off the ground to reduce the risk of sickness. It was difficult to put together and to attach it to the cage. Still, it worked for a little while until one day, my guinea pig discovered he could sit in it, which he enjoyed doing until it fell off the side of the cage. I now just give him hay on the ground and will buy a different hay holder. Right now, I am mainly using the corner crock to scoop bedding into his cage after I clean it.
Cons: difficult to assemble

I bought this for my guinea pig and about 2 months later the mounting hardware broke because the whole thing is made of plastic. Buy something more durable like a ceramic/stainless steel bowl with river rocks in the bottom to help it stay up right when your pet wants to get in it.

I saw this dish and thought it'd be a marvelous item that would stop excrement from getting into the food and stop my Chinchilla from knocking over her dish. The first problem I had with it was installation. The clips are hard to use and it's nearly impossible to get onto a cage, even one made by the same company. The second issue, it's made of plastic. Despite how solid it is, my Chinchilla managed to find a way to chew off pieces of it, even the clips. Third, my Chinchilla did manage to take it off the cage wall, defeating the purpose of it. Use a ceramic bowl instead.
I had been looking everywhere for a secured food dish for my guinea pig. He has managed totip over all other bowls and even broken a few. I saw this crock and I thought this would be great! Its large enough for food, treats or hay but the cage I have has a very deep plastic base so I had to hang this corner crock higher up and my piggy has to stand up just to reach his food. Two hours after having this in the cage my piggy figured out how to knock it down and flipped his food everywhere! So with his food scattered in his bedding now wasted I had to un-install this and I am going to return it! Im very sad this crock didn't work out because it sounded perfect. It is very thick and sturdy, mostly chew proof and comes in many many colours that match all the Super Pet brand cages. Unfortunatly even though these are made by the same company, they dont even fit properly in the cage! Installation is a little complicated, the instructions are just printed on the box. If you have an all-metal cage, without a deep base this crock will work perfectly!!!! However, if you have a plastic base, your critters will ahve to reach up just to eat... Overall, not bad..jsut depends on your cage.
Pros: colour options, strong, interesting
Cons: installation, fit/size

Just like any other rabbit, Bailey (my silver marten), loves to rearrange his cage; almost hourly. I found this bowl and figured I'd give it a try, and I love it. I got it on his cage no problem, and he can reach it no problem. He still tries to pull on it to move it but it won't come off for him, just like how he tries to move his litter box around--it just won't work.

So, I get this food dish, excited that it fastens to a corner. I thought, "Hey, the cage will be cleaner." Not even after a month, bunny has figured out how to take it down and drag it into her house. I keep putting it back up. Finally, it broke where I fastened it to the cage. Do yourself a favor. Buy a good food dish.

My rabbit has used this as a bowl for his vegetables for two and a half years now and we have never had any problems with it. The snaps on the cage stay in place and it lifts easily enough out of them for cleaning but he has never been able to dump it out. It holds a good amount of food for a small animal and it frees up some space in his cage since it's in a corner. It's a little hard to attach to the cage but once you understand how it goes the installation is easy. I definitely recommend this.

If I could give this non-locking crock zero stars, I would. I spent too much money for a product that attaches to the corner of a cage or hutch via locks, but the crock will not stay attached to the locks. I used this for four days until I could get bowls. My guinea pigs dump the bowls less than they dumped the crock. I think the crock spent more time knocked over than attached and upright.

The screws are made from cheap plastic that, when you try to tighten them, break. It would be the perfect feeder if it wasn't made from flimsy plastic.

I’m surprised that this product didn’t get better reviews because I love it… and so do my guinea pigs! I got it about three months ago and I do remember having a little bit of trouble putting it together but once I got the hang of it, it was easy. My pigs have only knocked it over once, but that was right after I got it. They seem to like it and one of them likes to hide underneath it!!!

I would not recommend buying this product - you'll only end up returning it because it doesn't work. The bowl is very difficult to attach to the pronglike pieces that keep it on the sides of the cage, and my rabbit popped the bowl off the pieces in about two seconds. The prong pieces are also very fragile and prone to breakage. I'm not sure why they didn't make this product in the tongue-and-groove design most rabbit and ferret litterboxes have, because that design is much more effective. Either way, you'll be better off finding another product or devising your own way to keep your pet from making a mess of his food.

I bought this for my rabbit, Ferdinand, because he likes to rearrange his belongings in his cage and kept tipping over his food bowl. Within and hour of it being in his cage, he managed to push the crock hard enough to strip the screw disks that hold it in place. Now the bowl hangs there loosely, and Ferdi nudges it with his head and tip his food out. He's a Holland lop, not a very big bunny, but his strength alone was able to break this stupid bowl!
