This product is an exciting toy for small animals - I bought it for my sugar glider. He loves the wheel part but unfortunately the wheel drops down out of the slots that hold it in the car - the plastic car is too flimsy to hold the weight of the wheel in place and when the wheel drops down out of place, it prevents the car from rolling. We detached the wheel from the car and my sugar glider loves it like that. It is much better for small animals than normal round wheels because the holes for ventilation are in the sides where your pet does not run, therefore their fingers don't get stuck in the ventilation holes. Overall I like the product, but have yet to be able to use it as a cruiser - we are trying to engineer a war to keep the wheel in the cruiser. Good idea for a toy though

Hamsters Wheels

I love it..The Hamster loves it no problems at all, I got it for my son for his 7th birthday. He loves it and the hamster is in his car right now he has been in it for 30 minunites..I have no problems with the car at all.I recomend it. very funny to watch the hamster driving around the house..I hope this helps..

My hamster was very scared of of this and did not enjoy this. I also think that is not appropriate to put your hamster in a car. He also peed a lot and it was hard to get out:(

I bought this thinking that it was cute but when I brought it home one of the wheels broke off within a week. Also it can only go in one direction unlike a regular hamster ball which can go in any direction. It's not easy to wash, you have to get a bendable brush to get all corners and my hamster pees in any new environment so it's very difficult. With regular a hamster ball my hamster stays active for a half hour before I put her away and with the car she played for 5 minutes and slept in it. So an overall opinion about this is not good at all. Get the regular hamster ball and not something fancy, it's cheaper and easier.

Cons: price, easily destroyed

I bought this for my first hamster, Sheila, and she could only go forwards and backwards and she got stuck a LOT. She couldn't even see where she was going because of the stupid dashboard. I returned it the next day.

this was the biggest waste of money. I got this car and the track for my little hamster. after i set it up, i put him in it. I was pretty excited i would not have to watch him every second, but he couldnt even make it move! i was so mad. i took it back the next day. worst thing i have ever bought.

I have a Critter Cruiser for my Chinese dwarf hamsters named Dusty and Juarez. I gave it 3 stars because it's hard for them to push, and it only goes forwards and backwards. But it is a very cute car.

The car looked cool, but when the kids put the hamster in it he could only go forward and reverse. He got stuck in places and he could not see over the dash board.

I returned it the next day. Don't waste your money! Round ball is so much better for mobility and hamsters view.

All of my hamsters have really loved this! My Chinese Dwarf hamster isn't strong enough to push it, but she will zoom around in the wheel part as though she is actually racing. I did get the HamTrac, and the downside is that the whole car wont fit on it. The good thing about that is that you can remove the wheel part, and that fits perfectly! My hamster really loves it, and I am sure my new one will too!

Not a great ball replacement

I purchased this item because I thought it would be fun to watch my hamster run around in it. It was fun for a very brief time. The actual car part broke rather quickly. I was still able to use the wheel since it was really sturdy and would stand up on its own. However, my hamster got rather bored of it quickly, she did not like the fact that she could only go forward and backward. I would say purchase this in addition to a regular hamster ball, it can be cute, but don't rely on it.

This car is totally awseome!! It has 3 adjustable heights, and my hamster "Silky" loves it. She races around the house and I can always find her. The only thing I don't like about it is it doesnot turn corners.

I really like this product, now on carpet it wont move and your hamster may just sit there and look at you like "what am i doing in this small space for this long amount of time" lol sorry about that... but I used to put my Koosh (hamster) in there while i cleaned her cage out, now i just bought a ball for her to go in so she can run around my room(which has carpet). Now when I'm tiding up around the house i will put her in her car so she can be in the kitchen with me and just "drive" around, she loves it! And I do too!

This and the ham trac were Christmas gifts. There isn't much room in the wheel, and the car doesn't go around the turns of the trac well. We are happy using a regular hamster ball with the trac. Everyone is happier now.
