Love this product so much!!! We have two guinea pigs in this cage with plenty of room. This cage is great because its on wheels so its easy to move around. It was so easy to clean their cage, the bottom tray just slides out. Would buy this again and recommend to a friend!!!!! Love this cage
Pros: stylish, easy to clean, sturdy

Pros: bar spacing is good amount
Cons: to small, not good for a guinea pig

First, I just want to say that I am a 35 year old mom. I purchased this cage for our new bunny...I carried the box to and from the car, and assembled it completely by myself with no problems. I have a small Holland Lop so the size of this cage is perfect. She enjoys sitting under the shelf and jumping up on top to look out. I removed the metal grid and just used bedding. The cage is large enough for toys and also a large chew tube for her to sleep in. Overall I am very happy with this product.

overall i am really satisfied with this cage. it is big, tall, has a drawer thing which makes it much easier to clean, has a movable(but stable) second floor thing. my only con is that it sounds really loud and scary sometimes when you try to move it.. maybe i didnt assembled it that well but the sound scares my bunny... >_<

This cage was not the best ive seen. I had a rabbit in it. It was poorly designed so that he could urinate outside the holder thing under neath. Which ment i was stuck cleaning it up off the floor every day. Also the underneath thing would have waste on it so when you try to take it out well,ew. Also the latches were not very secure. After a while my parents made me move him outside because of the problem. Well that made the cage less useful. I had to cover all the sides from rain and sunlight all the time, but i doubt this cage is for outdoors. It was also chinsey, the wires rusted and the bottom wire rack would slip out so he could fall on to the waste part. Overall i would not recommend this cage to any1. I ended up getting rid of mine. It was a real hassle. The only good was that it was easy to open and pretty easy to put up. Dont waste your money!!!

My breeder used this for her young maltese pups. My maltese is 2 1/2 pounds at 6 months and the large size of this pen is great. It has a top so she can't escape. I just bring the platform down and put her small litter box with a puppypad on it. It has room for her toys and it can roll to other parts of the house. We sometimes have guests so it is easy if we need to move her and all her stuff.

I've used this cage for two guinea pigs. I love the large front door and that the whole top opens up. I also love the slide-out bottom tray: it makes cleaning so much easier. And it's nice that the wire bottom is removable, since it's uncomfortable for a guinea pig's small feet. The locking wheels are a nice touch, too.
It was a little frustrating to assemble but two people are not needed as some reviewers mentioned. And the bottom tray arrived cracked but I just used packaging tape on that spot and placed the feeding bin over it. It's still very usable, and I've had my cage for over a year. The water bottle sliding around (as others mentioned) is also managable if you have a wire holder around the top of the bottle and around the spout area (but this problem has nothing to do with the cage itself).
All-in-all, this cage is a very good product. I'd definately recommend it to anyone looking for an easy-to-clean guinea pig/rabbit cage.

I purchased this hutch because we were planning on getting two guinea pigs. First, it was difficult to assemble without two adults to hold it together. Second, the holes for the screws were threaded wrong on one side and required my husband pounded in the screws with a hammer because they wouldn't thread. Third, if you have guinea pigs and intend to remove the wire floor, since it's not recommended for guinea pigs, then you will have a gap where the bottom of the cage sides end and the plastic bottom begin. It's not much of a gap, but it's enough that bedding will get tossed out through it. The size of the hutch is large enough for our two pigs and the two more that are on the way. However, when we move we will not be deconstructing the hutch for fear that we will never be able to reconstruct it due to the manufacturing flaws.
I like this cage, and my buns like it, but it could be better in quality and I do have a few complaints about it. I gave assembly a 5 because I did not assemble it, so I could not judge that even though it does not seem like it would have been difficult to assemble. The sides are flimsy, and I am grateful for the little shelf, it helps hold the sides together. My rabbits really like the shelf because they can hide under it and sit on it. I did just remove the ladder as it is not wide enough for the bunnies and they can just hop on and off anyway. I was able to fit accessories on the cage without any difficulty, although, like another reviewer posted, because of the wide space between the vertical bars, the watter bottle can move and tilt too much. The thing I like least about the cage is that if the rabbits miss the litter box, or decide not to use it, the area where the wire floor and the tray slide in get dirty and can be hard to clean. Also, the ridges around the top of the tray are difficlut to clean. However, it is nice to have a slide out tray to just dump and wipe. My recommendation, though, if you are going to get a similar cage, is to go with the prevue home, it is better quality and earier to clean. Also, the wire mesh bottom on the prevue has smaller squares instead of just lines, which little ones feet go though. Not a bad cage, I just prefer the prevue!

I got this cage for my guinea pig about a month ago. I love it. Its so easy to clean. The base is deep so they dont' throw out bedding and I love the fact the top opens because pigs hate the small openings on cages. The only improvements I could suggest are to make the base fit more tightly, I use ties to secure it . Also the water bottle tilts and won't hang upright because of the large space between the vertical bars. Other then that its perfect and my pig loves the second level.

This product is alright. Loved it at first, except the lid was already loose (I blame that on myself I bought the on floor model) 2 of the prongs are broken on the lid from pressure of the latch. the bottom caging doesn't fit right and has already dropped my rabbit twice, and the bottom catch does not fit at all and drops, very hard to get it to stay on track. I really don't like this cage, my rabbit HATES it and after spending 100$ on it 2 months ago I have to go buy a new one because it's broken. I thought it would be a fine cage, and it was, to let me know what I want and don't want. I would never recommend this to anyone! It's all in all a waste of money and time. The only good thing about it are the legs and it sits up hight. The perch is already broken so I had to take it out.
Well, after paying $120 for the larger (42") green cage, it has been growing on me. There are some positives and of course several negatives.
To start, when we got it, I wasn't jumping up and down when we opened the box, especially after paying $120. To put together, you do need two people. One has to hold, while the other puts the screws in. This is understandable though, since it is a large item. However, be careful with the instructions. We actually put the side door in and found out that it was on the wrong side from where the bottom bucket slides out. We had to take it apart and switch things. The bucket was also cracked in the corner. Packaging was good, so we don't know how this happened. We are still waiting for Petsmart to send the replacement.
The extra level in the cage is a trip. We were not about to use the metal floor for our rabbit. I don't like the design. We ended up putting down a nice rug on the bottom, which is the bucket, along with our rabbit's litter pan. It wasn't a good idea to put a rug on the metal piece either, as our rabbit would be way too close to the top when he stands. Since we don't have the metal floor in, the so called ramp is at such an incline, our rabbit cannot even climb up it. We even hooked this ledge at the lowest it could go. Also, this incline piece is so narrow, it doesn't accomodate rabbits when they have to actually hop. Maybe it is good for a guinea pig, but not a rabbit. Plus, this ledge looks just like some lid to a rubbermaid container. Our rabbit was sliding across the plastic when he finally figured out how to jump that high onto the thing. I placed a carpet on that, which is actully a piece from a thing I bought at Petsmart for catching litter when a cat comes out of a litter pan. At least there is some grip. We are finding that our rabbit doesn't really like to try hopping on top of this thing, so he is enjoying just laying under it for privacy. If you have a small (dwarf) size rabbit like I do, you may find that it is hard for them to make it up to this ledge too.
This cage doesn't come with food dishes or water bottles either. Pet smart has one that comes with this, along with a nesting area that attaches on the end. We were very close to buying that one instead, so maybe you should check that one out too. I'm also wondering what it would have been like to purchase the small model for this particular cage. I have the 42" model and it just makes an Ok size for my dwarf bunny. We have him out a lot, so at least the size part isn't an issue with us.
Since this cage doesn't come with the dishes and water bottle, good luck with attaching some other brand. The only real space for one is on the ledge since you have wire for attaching to. However, our rabbit would starve since he cannot get up there. We even bought bird food dishes since that at least hangs properly, and that was still a bomb since he cannot get up there. The water bottle has a problem since the sections are so wide. You hang the stretch wire around the bottle and here it can slide and tilt across a 6" section of the cage. We had to wrap the wire tight around the bottle in one of the 1 inch sections, which are near the corners. It also had to come real low while he is sitting in the bottom level (slide out pan) since the wire floor isn't there.
The top opening lid only has a small piece of plastic that sticks up on each side, which helps this to hold in place. I would worry about this if you were considering to use this cage for a ferret. You would have to add some kind of tie so you could be assured it is locked in place.
So now, after this long list of complaints here, we do have some good. The entire top portion of the cage lifts open so you can clean. The bottom bucket slides out, which is good. There's also a front door if you don't want to lift open the entire top part. There are casters on the bottom. They screw in, so it is Ok to lift the cage up. You don't have to worry about them falling off, like other things only have them resting there.
I guess you could see that the negatives are pretty strong over the positives. Perhaps you might have better luck than we do. Sorry about this long review, but at least you might be aware of the little things that we are encountering before you purchase this item.
This is the best cage for Guinea Pigs that you will ever find!! I have 2 Guinea Pigs, and they just love this cage. They have never chewed on the bars, or anything else. The bedding almost never falls out of the cage. It has plenty of room for them to rome around in, and put all thier toys in. And it cleans up real nice! This is the best cage ever!!!!!

I Now Own 2 Of These Cages & Am Considering Purchasing Another For My Rabbits. The Cage Is Easy To Assemble. I Don't Use The Wire Floor Because My Rabbits Use A Litterbox, and Without The Wire Floor They Have Lots Of Room To Jump High, Play & Hop Around. I Have 2 Rabbits In Each Cage & They Play & Run Around Non-Stop!!! I Highly Recommend This Product!!!
