Excellent Treats

Our fish --especially our 2 male Bettas, Charlie & Sundance, who live in separate rooms, love this treat. Charlie is the one who really gets excited though. In another tank, our Gourami OJ is the one who really loves this treat in his tank. The rest including Neons & Glofish, love it too.
I like that they enjoy their food, but more importantly, I really like that the food is healthy for them. The Bloodworms are full, fat and even smell fresh even after several weeks of the can being open. I use Omega's Bloodworms as a treat and not a daily staple. I use Omega One's Super Color Fish food for our fishes daily diet. Read the ingredients on the labels of this product & others in the Omega line, you'll understand why you're fish enjoy it--and are healthy or healthier-because of it.

The food I used to feed Alpha the Betta(ironic, isn't it?) bored him so much! I used to have to go to the pond and find some misquito larvae, and the were so hard to catch. Finally, some good quality food. Thanks Petsmart!

These blood worms are top quality, you can tell by the smell and the high oil content. These blood worms are a great treat for fish, but if the fish are small, you will have to crush them into more bite sized pieces. All my fish love them.

My fish "thumbed their noses" at it at first, but after some time they started eating it.... I'm assuming it has an average taste (not about to eat the dead things myself). I have never seen a full sized Bloodworm before, but these seem to be full sized. Even my Neon Tetras will eat it without me crushing them.... The worms smell funny, like a man made factory kind of smell but I will hazard a guess and say it's the "pasteurizing" they do to them. Oh and my tank stayed clear with these worms too....

I just got these today and my black ghost knife loves these. I like that you can hold them in your fingers because my fish love to take them out of my hand. The only bad thing is there are big pieces in there.

I have 3 Fancy Guppies and only one of them like these. They are quite big once they have been in thte water, and larger fish would probablly enjoy these more than smaller fish.

Bettas love bloodworms, and this brand is no exception. My male and female betta love getting fed these in the morning. There's a lot of worms in the container so you likely won't run out fast. (The worms don't sink though, and they're a bit big.)

I bought a can of these for my tetras and they absolutely love them! Every time I feed them these bloodworms, they all scramble to the surface and pull one down into a corner where they can eat it without anyone else trying to steal it (which they will do if there aren't any left on the surface). The worms themselves are fresh and not dried out like some other brands I've tried.
The worms will not sink and it can be a problem if they manage to float into a corner and stick to the glass where my fish won't find them. I found that a toothpick works well for poking them down under the surface where one of my fish is more likely to notice it.
These are not something to feed your fish every day. Instead, give them bloodworms as a treat every few days to supplement their diet of flakes or pellets.

I bought this product for my female betta, Claire. When I bought her, the body was COMPLETELY white with a few speckled black dots, and her tail was purple with red tips. Now, her body is more of a lavender and her appearance has INCREDIBLY increased.

Unlike a lot of brands Omega one uses actual blood worms and not mosquito larvae. The first time I wnt to feed these to my fish I could feel the quality, they are not crunchy and powdery like normal bloodworms, indead they are spongy and soft, probably due to the higher oil levels. They stay afloat for a very long time, allowing time for even skittish top feeders to eat.
I will never switch to another bloodworm brand again (just fish food brand in general!)

I absolutely love this product and so do my African Cichlids. When I put these in their feeding ring its like a feeding frenzy going on, they can't wait to eat them and they know tht they are getting their "treats". I give them to my fish at least 3 times per week. I definateu recommend this one for sure. !!!

I've fed FD bloodworms to my fish for decades now. Last week was my first purchase of the ones packaged by Omega One. I was impressed at how heavily sealed the container was. Upon opening, you could tell how fresh these bloodworms were by the smell and the excellent oil content. These are not your typical dried out powdery bloodworms, they're whole, fresh and much safer to feed than frozen or live ones. Excellent.
