I started feeding my goldfish Omega One goldfish flakes for a while now and they LOVE it. They always go to the top to get the food. The food does not cloud the water which helps a lot with cleaning.

Pros: reduces clouding, good price, fish love it

No fish meal, very healthy ingredients, inexpensive, and easy to use. I know that goldfish above the age of 3 really aren't suppose to eat flakes, but they "like" the pellets - but only to a certain extent. The pellets also cloud my water, unlike these flakes. Due to the larger size of the flakes, you can tell they're for adult and senior goldfish. The ingredients prove it, too. I definitely recommend this and I will buy this again.

Pros: doesn't cloud water affordable healthy.

Label read the ingredients of all of the other brands of flake foods and you'll discover that Omega One's are definitely superior. No by-products, corn, unidentified fish sources, or artificial colors. My Fantail Goldfish have beautiful color and are very healthy on this food. It also has one of the lower protein/higher fiber contents of any other food available at Petsmart. Goldfish need lower protein/higher fiber for optimal health and to prevent 'swim bladder disease' (which isn't really accurate---it's more like impaction in the GI tract due to excessive levels of protein and too little fiber). Don't forget to supplement your Goldfish's diet with bloodworms, mysis shrimp, peas (innards only---no outer hull), leafy greens (like romaine lettuce), and orange slices.
