These tanks are not large enough for Betta fish. Betta fish require a minimum of five gallons. To buy this tank would be severely unkind. Please do not buy this.

This product is amazing I got it for my betta fish named Galaxy and he LOVES it. He swims around in it all day. I traded my other betta Sharkbait for his plant and now Sharkbait has the green one. It is just the right size for any where. It has the cutest background with under the sea creatures and on the other side it has sharks and stuff on it. The filter I don't have any problems with either. The gravel is perfect for color as well it is something he likes to play hide and seek on. I would recommenced this to anyone!!!

I already had the marina 1.77 gallon tank and it was just too small. I have a male betta fish named peeps because i got him for easter and so last night i went and bought the 2.66 gal. and peep loves it oh so much and swims around like hes the best fish ever. I already had the exact same filter that it came with (AWESOME FILTER) and so i decided to just keep the new filter and use the old one so whenever it broke i could use the new one and return the old broken one for exchanged money. I love this tank and reccomend it to a person who loves their betta.

I have a Betta and an African Dwarf frog and a snail in each, I LOVE these things! I have 2, actually. The filter works awesome for me, it is very attractive, and holds a lot of nice decor. They really love it. I reccomend this to anyone!
However I want to warn anyone about false advertising on this thing. It is NOT for Goldfish! Fancies need about 30 gallons and cmmons (Feeders) need 55. Thanks!
Oh, I also never have had any algea problems with it. Nothing at all. Filter is awesome, stays clean, everything fits, and the lid is very sturdy.
Pros: easy to install, easy to clean

Before this tank, I was keeping my crowntail betta in a betta cube. I was using that until I had enough money to buy a bigger tank with a filter.
I eventually purchased the 2.65 gallon version and at first I didn't like it because the filter was WAY too strong for the betta so I had to modify it using a sponge and half a coke bottle. After I modified it, it is now AMAZING! (You can see the sponge in my photo)
I haven't had any problems with the tank or filter, like other reviewers. I have had this tank for about 2 months.
My doesn't have an algae problem, which is most likely the cause if the tank is in direct sunlight.
I didn't have to purchase a heater either because the filter keeps the water between 72-75.
All in all, great tank! Glad I bought it!

I got this about five months ago to house my male Betta fish. He's the only inhabitant in it. So far, it's held up quite well and there have been no real problems.
Pros:
1. It's 2.5 gallons, but even at it's heaviest, it's still easy to carry, and it's shape makes it easy to grip without dropping.
2. The top snaps on and off easily, making tank maintenance a breeze.
3. The tank itself is pretty tough, and has held up great under the wear and tear.
4. I like how the tank widens at the top, since that's where I put the heater and filter. My Betta goes around the top during the day when he's feeling active, but has the small, cozy bottom when he's feeling shy.
5. There's enough room for gravel, a small fake coral-cave (for the fish to hide in), a fake plant, and a small rock. Nothing fancy, but it's good for a simple layout.
Cons:
1. It does unfortunately have that sort of cheap feel to it, but I guess that's to be expected with the price and plastic material.
2. The filter? Ehh. It lasted a couple of weeks, then it stopped working. Plus it wasn't very good quality at all. When it stopped working, I switched to a Top Fin filter that I've been using ever since (it's not on the web site for some reason, but it's the one with rocks on the top and a sponge on the bottom, they sell it in stores).
3. The tank collects algae fast. On mine, it's really bad, because the algae grows as a SHEET on all the walls at the same time, plus on my tank decorations. Although cleaning is a quick process, it's annoying. However, I've started changing the filter more often lately, and it's helping a lot.
Overall, I think this tank is great for a beginner!, or at least someone who doesn't want to deal with a big fancy tank while still keeping their fish in humane environment. This isn't for someone who wants to impress though, since the plastic and bright orange kind of hurts that effect though haha. I would recommend it though :)

I recently just got this tank but mines a Marina Cool 10 (purple). I wanted a starter tank for my son & I since we are new to fish keeping. Right now we have 2 baby goldfish in it, a black moore & an oranda. & looking to upgrade very soon to a 15 or 20 gallon tank just because I know these fish need alot of room.
The tank comes with a cute double-sided background, gravel, a plastic plant, filter, small water conditioner & small bio. supplement. (Just what you need to get started)
I'm definitly learning fish keeping with this tank but I would recommend just getting a bigger tank for goldfish. This ones kinda hard to clean, especially with the weird shape of the tank. but then again, great started tank to help you learn.

I bought this tank a month ago. It's working just fine.
But I do HAVE SOME TROUBLES WITH THE FILTER, as it leaves the tank a LITTLE WARMER, but nothing that can make your fish sick or kill it, and every time I feed them with flake food I need to turn off the filter otherwise THE FOOD SINK before the fish can eat (and they won't eat if that happens).
I saw some reviews complaining about the filter does not work or give problems. Well I must say I do love the fact that ITS NOT LOUD, and if you read the papers that came with the filter you will see that they give you 2 years warranty. So I'm not too worried.
Overall, the space is great, and the instructions for beginners were very helpful.
I have 6 Glofish Danio (tropical fish) and more to came....

I bought this fish tank about 3 mouths ago. It was working fine until the 2 mounth, I have been having filter problems. So I kept buying new filters for the filter, and then I said enough with this, so I went to petsmart and bought a TopFin 5 Gallon tank, and it was good from there. But now I have a 75 Gallon tank with salt water fish in it, and gave my 5 gallon tank to my sister.

I got this filter for my dad, and three goldfish. I really enjoyed it, but the filter kept being loud and became so hot that all the fish boiled. Otherwise it was a really outstanding buy and hope to use the tank (not the filter, because I'm buying a new one) for my new bettas.
Pros: style size great for beginners
Cons: get another filter!!!!

Me, my little brother and my little sister wanted goldfish. Badly. So my parents took us to Petsmart and said go choose 3 fish, one for each of you, and then come help us find a tank. So we went and the worker go us our fish in out own little baggies, and we chose this tank. 3 days later, during the night our filter got clogged by a peice of the silk plant that had broken off, and our fish, all 3 of them, died. My little siblings were devastated and cried for days. This tank is awesome, just not the filter! I use the tank without the filter for my betta fish, Charles.

I bought this tank a looooooooooooooooong time ago, when my parents refused to buy any other pets but goldfish! I used to not like this tank that much when I was little. When you were a little kid at those times, what you'd really like is those gigantic tanks! Now I realize how cute the little tank is! It comes with the gravel and food! It's not hard to please a fish! All it requires is water and of course, your fish! It was very simple to clean and very modern looking. I'd definently recommend this to anyone!
Pros: stylish and cute, only needs water and fish!, small and sorta portable?
Cons: none

I have had many aquariums, all much bigger than this one, but we needed one for a medium sized (and growing!) goldfish our daughter won at the fair. This tank is so easy to clean, very cute, the filter is small and so easy to pop out and clean once a week. It's a great little tank. We turn the bubbler on in the filter for a couple of hours a day, and it really seems to help keep the water crystal clear and the fish loves the bubbles that come out.

Junior the guppy loves his new orange fish tank. If your guppy doesn't like the flow of the filter, put a plant up there to slow the circulation. One time the lid came off and Junior raced down to the bottom of his cage, raced back up, and flopped right out, luckily we got him back in in time. The food that comes with it clouds the water and the guppies who were in there before did not eat them. Do not buy this tank for a goldfish, there is not enough room. Overall, a pretty good tank.

I replaced the Hawkeye Aquariums AquaView 360 Aquarium Kit with this product - 5 gallons. What a difference! This fish tank (kit) is very quiet. Along with the tank, I purchased a heater for my tropical fishes. The tank does not come with lighting - which is not a big deal.
Pros: very quiet attractive easy set up
