I have had my lights for 7 years. I have a blue set and a white set. I use them in my 75 gallon tank as moonlights, so when the day lights go off the moon comes out! Also when I bought mine it came with a switch on the hub. I see others didn't have a switch. I really didn't think it was necessary since all my lights are on timers. I've never had to replace anything in the many years I've owned them! They have been through a lot... aggressive fish, hard scrubs to get the algae off, I've had my white light through the dishwasher and they came out still working... well worth the money.
Pros: works great, easy to install, price

This light is not adequate if you want to light up a small tank. By small I mean 1-3 gallons. If you're ok with just a small area of the tank lit up, and just a narrow beam of light, it might be enough for you. But I would recommend the Zoo Med Betta Light. For just a few dollars more, it has 5 LED's. I have it set up with my 2.5 gallon aquarium and it does a nice job...but I would open the box and look at it before buying so you have get an idea of how it will fit on your particular tank, especially with the type of lid/hood you have.

I got this light to go with the Marina Betta Kit. I love how it is submersible, but in order to turn it off you must unplug it. It is nice if you only need a little bit of light for a small tank and for a nightlight, but it would be nice if it had a switch to turn it on and off and a little bit brighter.
Pros: submersible, adjustable angle, good nightlight
Cons: no on/off switch, doesn't light a wide area

I have used the Marina Micro L.E.D. Light Set for two weeks now and I love it. It doesn't get hot, the fish are OK with it, it can go underwater and its great for plants! The only thing that I thought was annoying was that to turn off the light you had to disconnect its cord from the transformer's cord but if you set up a timer for it it's fine. I recommend this product to anyone who wants a micro light. :)
