Tank itself is beautiful and sturdy and good quality. The light fixture however is flimsey. Thats why I gave it only 3 stars for quality. I took off 2 stars for the light fixture. Tank itself is 5 stars, light fixture is 3 stars.

This Tank is a quality tank for the price. I had no problems and received it in perfect condition. The openings on top could be slightly bigger to accomodate filter. Overall, I am very satisfied with the tank setup and my Angel Fish are one happy campers in their new digs :-))

I was very pleased with this tank. It is attractive and very clear (my fish look GREAT in it). However, in packing the hood, it was only wrapped in a little plastic and shoved loose into the tank. When I unwrapped it, the hood had broken pieces. It was nothing serious (I have requested some small replacement peices) but I have spoken to others who had broken hoods on arrival.
I would venture that this tank is of great quality, but beware of the hood.

My only complaint is the size of the top openings. If you use a canister system, no problem. I don't like canisters, and found that a Penguin 350 (biowheel) exactly fits. Great-looking tank, everybody comments on how nicely it is constructed. Easy to move when empty, weighs about 25 lbs.

I bought 2 of these tanks and love them! they have been up and running for a few months.clear and beautiful additions to my fish room. lighting could be better.....but works ok for fresh water tanks.
