Best Filter I have ever gotten, I have goldfish which get really messy really fast and this thing keeps the water completely clear. My tank has never gotten cloudy or gross smelling with this system.

Very Good Filter Pad!

These Filter pads are great for the whisper internal filters. I really like the ability to take the clip off the top and dump out old carbon and put fresh in. I just dump out the old carbon, rinse off the dirty floss, put fresh aquarium carbon, and sink the refilled pad in dechlorinated water before adding back to the tank.
"or" just buy a new cartridge.
I would recommend these to a friend.

These filter bags work great and are very easy to replace. When I bought them, I thought that they would come fully put together, but when I opened the box, I found out you had to put them together yourself. It's actually not that hard though. You have one frame which you reuse, and then you have 8 bags of charcoal, and 8 bags. You just have to put the bag on the frame, pour the charcoal in and viola! You should have a crystal clear fish tank in no time!

Pros: easy to replace, good price, gets you clear water

These are a much better value then buying the prepackaged filters of this type, provided you don't mind getting your hands a little dirtier. You must reuse the plastic frame, but I see this as a bonus as keeping the same frame keeps the beneficial bacteria around. And why throw perfectly good plastic into a landfill?

However the carbon packs are a little hard to open (use scissors!) and pour into the filter bag. I lost an entire sachet as it fell (opened) into the bucket of dirty aquarium water.

Pros: economical, reusable frame

Cons: some assembly required

I have been using these cartridges in my Whisper power filters for more than a decade now. My supervisor trusts them on all of the eight tanks that she and I maintain as well. I love these things. They are so easy to assemble and to use. They last a long time and keep my water crystal clear and smelling fresh. I would recommend these cartridges for someone with multiple tanks or is just a beginner in the aquarium hobby.

I've kept & migrated my very 1st whisper power filter all the way up from a 20 gallon high aquarium to my current 120 just because of the easy to use Bio Bags.
They do a marvelous job at keeping the water safe and clean with a lot less work on my part. I do have another kind of power filter, which by comparison, takes nearly 6x longer to properly clean and service.

I've been using these since I got all 4 of my fish tanks and absolutely love them. They are so easy to use and when its not time to change the filter you can easily just rinse them off and put them back in and continue to use them very easily and prolong the life of the filter. Love this product.

I've been using Bio Bags for as long as I've had my loach. They came with our aquarium and we still use them today. The only thing that's bad is that if your fish has ich you have to dissect the bag and take out the carbon before putting in the medicine. It only takes about a couple of minutes to take the carbon out though.

I highly recommend this product. Easy to use and switch frames (yes you use the same frame! it's good for the fish (helpful bacteria) and the environment!!!). I've had my aquarium for about 4 years now and this is all I've ever used and all I will ever use. I highly recommend it.

I felt compelled to rate this product after reading the extremely negative one. These filters are easy to use and work very well. I have used these for years and never had a problem with the packaging. You get one frame and 12 bags and carbon (if you order the economy pack). I hope all you fish fanatics out there know you don't need a new frame every time. The frame carries benefical bacteria that will transfer to the new filter and media. Buy these with confidence. They work as well as anything on the market.

I use the bio bags for both of my tanks. I have a main 20 gallon high and a 5 gallon for my babies ( I breed mollies and guppies). I find it a bit of a pain to cram all of the carbon in the junior filters, plus I add ammonia chips as well. I do find that they keep my tanks clean and my fish healthy.
Lori, and my Balloon Belly Mollies, Fancy Tail guppies, neons, cory cat, gourahmis and plechosamesus(I know I butchered that!!) Plus 1 dog and 1 cat !! Not to mention my boyfriends 55 gallon tank!!

The material inside this package really cuts the corner on the quality. The carbin foil bags came not sealed 7 out of 12, causing spilling of all those active carbon on my floor. There is only 1 frame in the package. So I guess you are supposed to reuse those over and over again. So you need to take the frame from the old dirty cartridge and put into the new cartridge. Never see that mentioned on the package. I wouldn't touch any Tetra filtration products anymore.
