We have a Siberian Husky and a long haired cat. By the time we noticed the fleas on our husky it was too late. Our cat is severally sensitive and was already attacked by them. We encountered the Zodiac spray while at Pet smart and it was absolutely amazing! The fleas didn't stand a chance. We used the amount described and the fleas started dropping on contact. If you want to make sure those pesky fleas die quickly than this is the stuff for you!

My brother and his dog live with me and his dog became what i can only describe as infested with fleas. i started finding them in my bed, on the couch, i started feel crazy. everytime i felt something move on me i freaked out. finally i had enough and googled all kinds of products. this had the best review. i went and bought. i admit i might have saturated the dog im not sure what the product considers saturate. we left her on the porch to dry. i assumed i would need to pick the dead fleas off when she was dry. when i checked on her several hours later she was FLEA FREE!! there were not a single flea carcass on her that i saw. it has only been a day and a half and i did find one flea on her today but it hoped right off when i flicked it. i will continue to check daily and use the spray again in a few days to be sure she stays that way. we also bombed our house with adams plus flea fogger and used an all nutural flea medicine on her. i will recomend this product the rest of my life!!

It's only been 2 weeks since my dogs last dose of Advantage and fleas are already starting showing up again. I can't give her a flea bath because she currently has stitches in :( I swear by Zodiac brand flea shampoo(their oatmeal conditioning shampoo is the BEST!), and I now swear by their flea spray! I applied it to her coat right before bed and it immediately went to work! Woke up this morning to a completely flea-less dog. Fleas AND eggs were completely gone :) Its a great alternative to their flea shampoo in the event you can't bathe your dog. I will continue using this and highly recommend it!!!

My husband and I let a family member come live with us for a couple months, and he brought his dogs. Little did we know that his dogs were completely infested with fleas. He ended up moving out, but left our house and animals infested. My two year old is allergic to flea bites, so we acted quickly. We tried frontline, and it didn't do anything, so I looked up flea products, and came across this. I loved the reviews so I bought it, and as soon as I got home, we used it on our 3 cats. It worked instantly, I have never seen a product work so fast!! We used it with a flea comb and in just one stroke I had like 10 dead fleas on the comb!! Great product, I have seen like 2 on one cat, and none on the others, we also paired it up with the carpet and upholstery spray... Amazing!!

After reading all positive reviews here, i bought spray for my 3 cats. It doesnt work for them. For it to work i obviously need to soak cats in it but one cant do it according to the instructions. And just spraying doesnt do anything.

In Southeast Florida we have fleas in numbers to rival a science fiction movie. Our pets were loaded with fleas even though we used all the modern drops, diets, repelents. You name it. Finally I read about this product and gave it a try. What do you know! Finally a product that works! The fleas started jumping off before I was done misting their coats. I'm finding dead fleas in their fir hours later, and dead fleas everywhere else too. Right now, they are not scratching or biting, and seem to be relaxed for the first time in months. This is one great product!

zodiac is good for killing fleas BUT i put some in a cup to give my friend some and it ate the bottom out of the cup in a about 8 mins so im not sure if its good for dogs i still use it i just dont soak my pets in it

As soon as I saw my schnoodle had fleas, my husband and I went to the store and couldn't believe the high prices on flea products. We ended up buying one of those inexpensive collars... what a mistake! After a few days she still had fleas so I started reading reviews on different products and couldn't believe this one had such good rating and reviews and a very reasonable price so we went to the store and bought it. I'm so glad we did!!! This is the best flea product ever!!! I couldn't believe that in just a few minutes my dog was finally relaxed and all the fleas were gone. If you go to the store, you'll see that the label of the product is a little different than the picture on this website. Just make sure the name/description is the same. I highly recommend this product!

I was reading these reviews wondering if all the good things people were saying was true. During a cookout we were having, this little puppy came up out of the woods. Ribs showing and a storm coming, we took her in. She was COVERED in fleas from being outside and we took a chance and bought this stuff. WOW!!! It works. We started spraying her and the fleas were high-tailing it outta there!! Great product and I would definitely recommend it!

I adopted a cat who was a stray, and he brought with him fleas, which he then shared with my Golden Retriever. I had tried the powder, baths, and the liquid on the back, and nothing had worked. I read about the Zodiac spray, and thought I would try it out. I am so glad that I did! It worked immediately, as other reviewers had mentioned. The only thing that I didn't like is that the smell is HORRIBLE! I can't even describe the smell. I had to open all the windows and turn on the fans in my house in December in the Northeast, because it permeated throughout the whole house. It says that it has a pleasant smell on the bottle, but don't believe it. Also, my cat got the excessive salivation printed on the bottle as a side effect, but thankfully it went away and he was fine. All in all, a great product!

Earlier this fall my cat got infested with fleas for the first time. No matter what I tried nothing seemed to get rid of them and she was constantly itching. After we started getting bit I decided enough was enough and bought this spray. Yes it smells bad and the cat did not like it (she peed and started foaming at the mouth when I sprayed it) but it worked great. I started seeing fleas instantly drop off of her. I rubbed it into her fur and combed through a few times and got all and any fleas I could see. It was kinda gross to see how many there were! I fogged the house, vacuummed every day for a month and then resprayed her and so far we are flea free.

Used this product on 3 dogs & 2 cats. All very infested. At the same time I treated the yard and house. Fleas and ticks dropped off of all of them very dead. Neither dogs or cats had a bad reaction. About an hour later I found 1 or 2 fleas on 2 dogs. I sprayed them lightly again. I would use this again.

Our Bichon has been plagued with fleas for last month - or two. Did Advantage / did flea bath - still constant itching & fleas very visible.
I found this product - used it - and watched fleas fall off dog in minutes. At least 25-30 fleas fell off before I gave her bath to rinse

Really didn't think this product would work with having 4 animals in our home. Proved us wrong. Don't waste your money with collars, flea baths, or expensive drops.. This spray works on contact and my wife and I saw the fleas dying instantly. Dogs and cats don't even lick themselves to clean off the product, which we had worried about. Glad we purchased this spray.

This product does exactly what other reviewers claim. Kills fleas quickly and efficiently. Within 4 hours I was no longer finding any fleas (living or dead) on a large white American Bulldog or a large black pit bull. There were no signs of itching or irritation on either dog, although they didn't particularly care for the smell.

I have tried several products trying to rid my 2 Yorkies of fleas. Even with trying the high-end products, I still found fleas on my dogs. I have used Frontline Plus. Still fleas! And currently trying Advantage. I applied the Advantage but so far still seeing fleas. I decided to look for a spray to kill the fleas ASAP. I came across this product and saw the high rating and thought I'd give it a shot. What do I have to lose? I immediately went to buy the spray, came home and sprayed my dogs and... NO MORE FLEAS! I am so excited that I had to write this review. Now with the fleas gone and using the Advantage, I am hoping this will solve our flea problem once and for all.
I have to say that the smell is not "pleasant" as it states. It does smell like a pesticide. Alot like Lice Shampoo.
Other than that, this product gets an A+ from me and my dogs!

I brought home 2 12-week-old kittens, only to find fleas crawling through their fur just a couple of days later. Did some research before going to the store - planned on buying a different brand, but the bottle said it wasn't for kittens under 6 months, even if the website said otherwise. So, with my hands tied, I went for my second best option.
Well, I'm glad that I did! I sprayed a towel and wrapped the first kitten, got one flea trying to run off over the outside of the towel after a few minutes, and half a dozen on the towel itself after I was done. I thought that was impressive... Until I tried with the second kitten. Within seconds of wrapping him up in the sprayed-down towel, there were fleas swarming toward his face! Wiping his face with another towel sprayed with the stuff got rid of those fleas real fast.
Of course, neither liked being held wrapped up in a towel outside, but after seeing the number of fleas that dropped dead after using this, I'd recommend it to anyone.
It does stink, though - so use it outside or in a very well ventilated room!

I have used Frontline Plus for years, only to get frustrated time & time again by the fact that there were still fleas on my cats. I finally realized that in order for Frontline to work, the fleas have to bite the animal--it doesn't affect fleas unless they bite! So, I came online to search for another remedy & saw a lot of satisfaction with Zodiac Flea & Tick spray. I am THRILLED! In a matter of seconds, the dead fleas were dropping off the cats!! I will NEVER buy anything but Zodiac from now on. I recommend this product to anyone with animals! I wish I had discovered this product a long time ago.

I have three adult cats. One likes to be indoor/outdoor. Only recently did we discover the flea infestation and that was because they starting biting US. I tried the back of the neck thing, but that didn't work. I think that stuff is probably meant more for prevention than getting rid of.
But this Zodiac spray ROCKS! I was skeptical, at first, but ended up totally won over. I used it first on my oldest and worst infested kitty. Wow. Like the other reviewers said, the fleas just FELL OFF her! They were literally RUNNING to get away from where I was spraying. Unfortunately that meant onto her face and into her ears so I had to help her with that. I treated her in the bathtub, which was good, so I could just wash the dead fleas down the drain (use a towel under kitty for traction...she'll be more comfortable). Sunny is such a thankful kittycat now and no more scratching.
The only issue we had was on our smallest cat (6lbs, 2 yrs old). She foamed at the mouth for about a half hour after I did it; however she is really high-strung and got so worked up she peepeed as I was treating her, she's just like that. But she is flea free now!
Our middle cat did just fine. Not too many on her but she is better nonetheless.
