In our house we refer to this product as the "Miracle Pill" or "Wonder Pill". Our dog has new legs when she is taking it regularly. She feels good enough to run a little and jump around. Plus it's the only one she actually LOVES to eat!

A year and a half ago, a "thumping" sound woke up my daughter. It was our Boxer not being able to get up on his back legs to walk. He was pulling himself with his front legs and dragging his back legs. It was a Sat. morning. We rushed him to an animal emergency room 35 miles away. He was treated and diagnosed with severe arthritis. The vet gave us prescription meds. Researching on line about this med showed it to have some dangerous side effects. I also found that chondroitin and glucosamine are effective in treating arthritis in dogs. I bought this brand because it had larger amounts of these two ingredients in it than the other brands. After about two weeks, he acted much younger and still acts like he is much younger than ten. He has never had another incident like the original one or anything close to it. When he is a little slow in getting up, I just give him a second dose.

I have a younger dog that our vet describes as "loosley jointed" at around 6 months of age I noticed that she was wimpering when she would stand up after lying down for awhile and she wouldn't jump up on anything even when encouraged to do so. The vet recommended we start her on glucosamine and we did. What a turn around! She takes 1/2 a tablet each morning, (they are chewable liver flavored so she takes it like a treat after her breakfast). Within a month she was running and zipping around and jumping up just like a puppy should. She is now 1 1/2 years old and takes her 1/2 tablet each morning. Great product!

Pros: easy to give like giving a treat

After my 11 year old, 60 lb dog was diagnosed with arthritis in his left front leg and limped terribly not only in the morning but during the day, I was skeptical that giving my dog this product would stop his limping, but after about 6 weeks of hiding a tablet in his food once a day, he stopped limping and runs like he used to before being diagnosed with arthritis. Still surprised with his outcome. Very happy with this product.

I have a 13 year old, 70# boy with arthritis in his elbows and he had gotten very slow, especially when trying to get up. This seems to have helped him. I did start it right around spring when the worst of the cold weather was past so the real test will be this fall/winter.

I have a 85lb lab. His joints "click" due to arthritis setting in. I started him on this tablet, once a day, and within seven days he no longer clicks. He acts more energetic -- I think because he feels better.

We have used this on our large mixed breed. She could barely walk. Vet wanted to do surgery or consider putting her down. This product totally turned her around. She can now run and play. She is much happier. We have an older small dog that is beginning to have arthritic problems. We have started him on this product also and he is doing great.

our 9 year old 80 pound golden retriever seems much more comfortable in the cool weather and after a romp in the park, now that we are regularly giving him this product. i also like that it only takes one tablet per day, whereas so many competitor brands call for 3-4 tablets per day. I would like to be able to purshase the 125 tablet size, which i see on the 21st century website, tho. PetSmart is only major chain in our area to carry this brand and it is worth the extra drive.
