Was ALMOST perfect until destroyed

Loved this product, worked great at absorbing odor and accidents.. But only lasted about 2 weeks before my dog found the zipper pull (which is "hidden" under an obvious Velcro flap) and destroyed the zipper completely. Which of course led to her destroying the rest of the cover. Seems like a product meant for traveling or accidents from extended crate time should be more durable! (and she wasn't even in there long) I purchased another one because I was hoping I could find a way to keep her from getting to the zipper but unfortunately she destroyed the second pad faster than the first. I WISH they made this with an "inseam" or hidden zipper like I've seen most dog beds have. Such an easy fix would make this the perfect product!! Unfortunately with he bulky zipper on the outside it is too tempting for chewers!!! Do not recommend if your dog is a chewer!! :(

I started preparing for my new pup weeks before she was arriving. I bought this and was hoping it will work. When we got it, my bf was skeptical and said we should probably cover the floor, which is carpeted, with a tarp. I said the product said it should be absorbent enough. So we tried it out and a cup of water, immediately when the water touched the pad, it sunk it as if there was a suction inside of the pad. WOW! I only have 1 and now, I want to buy more! It's easy to clean, just pop into the washing machine and dryer then reuse it =)

I am planning to take my Chihuahua on some flights in the future. I considered diapers but I don't want her to possibly have to stay in a wet diaper for hours. These pads seem to be the perfect solution but unfortunately they are way too large for my Sherpa medium soft sided carrier required by the airlines. The pads for that carrier measure 10 x 15 1/2 inches. I would be thrilled if the company would manufacture pads in sizes to fit the Sherpa carriers. It seems to me that airline travel would be a major reason for purchasing these pads.

Super nice but...

I ordered two of these beds and loved them. I bought the ones to fit in the 24" kennels, but I have the plastic kennels and they did not fit. And my kennel were 24" long and an inch smaller in the width according to the measurements and the beds were still way too big for these kennels. I'm sure they would fit in the wire crates fine though!

Pros: good quality!

Cons: didn't fit the plastic kennel

After reading the reviews, I was very hopeful, but my 3 month old, 4lbs, Pocket Beagle puppy chewed a hole in the pad within an hour. I was very disappointed.

These things are great! If you crate your dog when you are not home or you have to take him on a long drive/flight and are concerned that he might have an accident en route, use one of these things! They're spongey (comfy), they're absorbant, and they are reusable!

I just bought this pad and I was blown away with how dry to the touch the pad felt after my dog Max was incontinent in his crate. The foam padding was completely dry and odor free! It washes easily and dries quickly for use the next day. I plan on buying a few more!

These pads really work, and they are easy to care for. They work for any crated animal and I use for all when they're headed to the vet: no more unplanned baths due to crate accidents. We are all a lot happier thanks to this product. It's the best.
